My Experience as an EEE Student at JNTU.
Placements: I have completed my B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from JNTU - Gurajada Vizianagaram. Around 80% of my classmates get placed in campus drives. The highest package is 9 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. The average package lies around 3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and L&T visit our college. The roles they offer are Electrical Engineer, Energy Analyst, and Maintenance Engineer.
Infrastructure: Our department has well-equipped Electrical, Machines, Power, and Electronics labs. We have a vast library. The hostel has clean rooms. The food is great as it is a student-managed hostel where they cook whatever we want. We have medical support available in our college. We have good sports facilities with courts and a gym.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is generally good. The curriculum is relevant and includes labs and projects that help students become industry ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is usually around 75%.
Other: I chose EEE because it offers strong core engineering knowledge and diverse career options in Power, Electronics, and Automation. The best parts are the practical labs and supportive faculty. Campus fests are lively, the crowd is friendly, and extra-curricular clubs are active. Scholarships are available for need-based students. There are plenty of events, sports, and technical activities throughout the year.

Decent teaching and average infrastructure.
Placements: Very less percentage of people are getting placements, and about 7-9 people are getting internships that too with very little amount stipend of that is nearly Rs 9,000 per month which is very low. Companies like L&T are coming for campus recruitment but the salary is below average.
Infrastructure: Hostel and college infrastructure are not upto the mark as compared to other colleges. There is no Wi-Fi connectivity at the college. Leave Wi-Fi, you won't even get mobile signal in the hostel as it is situated in the mountains. The mess food is good, and you find it as the best if you have previously been in a hostel. The equipment in the labs is very outdated, and the management won't even change it.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable but only few of them are qualified. Only a very few of them are helpful in studies. There are only 3 or 4 faculty members who can actually explain the topic deeply for students. Others are just puppets. The curriculum is somewhat relevant but not upto the mark as it is not nearly enough to make students industry-ready.

Everything is good and its raw.
Placements: But when it's comes to placement, it is worse than you think. For the placement, you need to prepare well on your own so it's better to know about the college although it is a government university which is recognised by Indian government.
Infrastructure: The hostel bathrooms are worse than you think, it is terrible. The environment looks like you are surrounded by mountains and rocks. Mostly buses have better chance to take look on snakes and even more times on scorpions and mostly centipedes man.
Faculty: This is another dark side that no one is going to tell you about. Although you are a university student, you don't expect professors to do anything you have in mind. Faculty members are friendly sometimes, and sometimes they are terribly hard so prepare yourself for anything that you can really face. My suggestion is not to be mostly awkward. When it comes to the curriculum and faculty members, they are good.
Other: Every branch at JNTU has its own events. I am unable to tell the names of those events but they are strongly supported by faculty and their department.

This college is best for every student.
Placements: My college is very best and neat for studies. It gives a beautiful atmosphere like a university and in the name of placements, there are more chances for computer-based groups and not much placements for core branches. The faculty members have to focus more on core placements.
Infrastructure: Coming to the point college, course, and classrooms are very neat and a good atmosphere gives the university a feel. The most important thing in college is food and hostel. Coming to the hostel and food, my college hostel food is very good. But hostel has some modifications.
Faculty: The teaching staff is excellent and they give very knowledgeable conversations in college. Coming to my branch, teaching is very good and they interact with students very comfortably. But it coming to semester exams, they are very tough and the evaluation of exam papers is very tough.
Other: I am EEE student and I am very interested in this group. But in my group labs and classrooms, more will be provided in the future at this college where you learn the real meaning of life. You will face more problems and if you overcome all over the problems you have succeeded.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of seniors. It has good faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: In my course (EEE), 60% of students are placed in campus interviews in the year 2024. The highest package is 8 LPA, and the lowest package is 4.20 LPA. The average package is 3.6 LPA in my course. The top recruiting companies for our course are L&T Construction, Veda IIT, and Pennant Technologies. The internship percentage is 55% and students got internships in MNCs like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. The top roles offered in my branch are design engineering, applications engineering, automation engineering, and system engineering.
Infrastructure: In my college, all departments have good infrastructure. We have a central library with free access to Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, a good hostel, and a mess. The quality of food is very hygienic. We have 2 canteens in college with all available stationary and snacks at reasonable prices. We have one ambulance in emergency and medical staff members. We have all types of games and sports in my college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are PhD holders in their specific subjects. The course curriculum is very relevant to industrial knowledge. Semester exams are very difficult. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose this course because we have government jobs in this course in the railway and electrical industries. The best thing is we get good knowledge in electronics in this branch. I would like to improve my thinking skills in my course about new inventions in electronics. In my college, every event happens, and every branch has 2 days to do their branch fests every year.

It was a good college who are interested in studies. It was a government university.
Placements: College is good. An average number of placements are coming to the college. Last year, I know one student received a package of 6 lakhs per annum. Nearly 50 to 60% of students are getting internships in our college. College is nice. No feelings are required, only exam feelings for the college purpose.
Infrastructure: The hostels are very good, and the food is decent because it is a student-run mess. The hostel surroundings are good and hygienic. Some people are responsible for cleaning the floors and rooms. A nice ground is provided, along with gaming tools. Limited students are allotted to hostel rooms.
Faculty: Most of the faculty are becoming friendly with the students. The explanations are nice, and some faculty members are changing their way of explaining. No manhandling occurs; they handle students with care. Most of the faculty use only English while teaching. Nice notes are provided, which are useful for studying.
Other: I was interested in the EEE course. At first, I decided to study the core subjects, so I took the EEE branch. Many fests and events are held in our college, and we all enjoy them very much.

It is a good college for students who focus on GATE really good facilities and a mess and hostel.
Placements: Hi, my name is Hari, Jntu Vizianagaram is a good college but not for getting placements as I heard there are very few seniors of mine who got placements, only some companies approach for placements in your college. You should not only study hard but also should have good knowledge of other subjects.
Infrastructure: We have a medium level of infrastructure in your college as it is a government college, but for the feels we are paying it is acceptable, classrooms are neat and clean. We also have projectors in the classroom and we also have good equipment in the labs, now coming to mess food we are very satisfied with it because it is a student mess and students are maintaining it.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable as it is not easy to get a government job without proper knowledge. Teachers not only teach but also guide the students for their future, yes the course is curriculum-relevant and it makes the students industry-ready, of course, the semester's exams are difficult and students should study a little bit hard to clear the exams.
Other: I like electrical, so I chose this course. Every year we celebrate a feast, every individual branch will have separate fests and activities, it will happen for two day,s where we enjoy a lot and communication between the students develops workshop takes place.

Review of University College of Engineering, Vizianagaram.
Placements: In our college, there are placements every year from every branch, with an average package of about Rs.42,000 to Rs.50,000 per month. I am coming to placements under talent, where recruitment for various courses is offered, including law and internships with companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our class and study halls are very good, with well apparent. However, the hostel infrastructure is not better than the structure of classrooms. It could be improved structure to provide more facilities for students.
Faculty: Faculty is experienced. Exams, of course, have a very highly talented certificate in their resumes. Faculty is there in every branch to explain in detail to students. Students get very clarified doubts by them and get good marks in exams.
Other: In our college, there is a lot of freedom and the facilities we need. Coming to the freshers' fest, it is done very well. Campus road is more accounting of campuses are a single road campus.
