I wasn’t sure if I was ready to sacrifice my dream just to take admission in a prestigious institution: Nilutpol Kashyap
Right from my childhood, I was always interested in computers and their working. My father gifted me my first personal computer when I was in class 2. This sparked in me a passion for computers. I was also very interested in electronics. I used to tear down old toys and electronic devices in the house and learn about their working. When I completed my Xth, I wanted to opt for science stream and my parents supported me. Even during my XI and XII, I continued with my passion for computers and electronics. I like to study Mathematics and Computer Science. These two subjects were my favorite.
After I completed my XIIth, I tried for several engineering colleges and was eventually selected for B.Tech CSE with specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I always loved programming. Stuff like Robotics and Artificial Intelligence have always amazed me. I loved reading about them and was very much eager to learn and work on them. That is why I opted for this specialization in my bachelor course. Currently, I am in my first year of B.Tech and I am very much enjoying my life. I stay at the in-campus hostel. I like to code and study books. Sometimes, I work in the robotics lab in my university at night. I really appreciate the facilities provided by the university.
After I completed my XIIth, I appeared for several engineering entrance exams. I was able to clear the cut-offs for all those exams but none of them fetched me a seat in B.Tech CSE. I always wanted to study Computer Science. I wasn’t sure if I was ready to sacrifice my dream just to take admission in a prestigious institution. Also, my parents didn’t want me to totally let go of my passion and take a course in which I had no interest.
I appeared for SUAT, the entrance exam for Sharda University. I came out with flying colors and also cracked the interview for the admission. I got into B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I didn’t take any coaching classes during my HS. I prepared for the entrances and boards on my own and with some help from my mother. Now, as a student of Sharda University, I am very happy and hoping to have a bright future by working hard.
I regularly attend my classes. Moreover, the authorities are very strict regarding the attendance and if someone does not have more have 75% attendance in a particular subject, he/she gets debarred in that particular subject. Also, I like to work in the Robotics lab in the evening time and try out different projects. I like to code in my free time and try to learn different programming algorithms. Especially, I like to attend Mathematics and Programming classes because these are my favorites. I stay at the in-campus hostel so that I can go and work in the lab whenever I am free. The professors are very helpful and cooperative. If we ever face any problem, we can contact them at any point of time and they help us to resolve our problems. From my sophomore year, I am going to be one of the coordinators of the Robotics lab. Recently, I and three of my friends won the first prize in the maze runner robotics competition.
My college experience has changed me a lot. It has helped me gain experience and I met different kinds of people here.

Honestly, both Sharda and Galgotias are good options, but I'd personally prefer Galgotias. I'm studying here, and my experience has been good so far. The university provides a good learning environment, and there are plenty of activities and opportunities for students.

Sharda University is known for both, but it has built a particularly strong reputation in medical and healthcare-related courses alongside its engineering programmes. For pure engineering, it remains a solid, NIRF-ranked choice, especially for students looking at Delhi NCR colleges with a diverse, m
