As per the latest report, the University recorded 100% placements for its MBA batch 2022 and 95% placements for its BTech batch 2022.  To get admission to a four-year BTech course at Sharda University, there is minimum eligibility criteria that needs to be fulfilled by the aspirants. Candidates must have passed Class 10 with 60% of aggregtae. They are required to pass Class 12 in Science stream by obtaining minimum of 70% aggregate overall and acquiring 60% aggregate in PCM & Computer Science. Further, they also have passed Class 12 with 50% aggregate in Mathematics subject. There should not be any gap in passing Class 10 & 12. Yes, for admission to the BTech programme, the university accepts JEE Main score as well as UPSEE and Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT) scores.

For admission to the BTech programme, the candidate needs to secure a minimum of JEE Mains All India Rank up to 3 lac.

To become eligible for JEE Main Counselling 2023, candidates must secure more than or equal to the category-wise cutoff of JEE Main. Only those candidates who meet JEE Main qualifying cutoffs will be eligible for appearing in the JoSAA counseling. Candidates must secure minimum ranks for admission to Sharda University.

Yes, Sharda University has an in-house entrance exam of its own. The university conducts Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT) for admission to all of its UG and PG courses. This entrance exam is valid for UG and PG courses from all the streams such as Management, Engineering, Science, etc. It is mandatory to qualify for this entrance along with fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to any of the course. But students who apply with a valid score of some respective national-level entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, ATMA, GATE, JEE, etc., shall be exempted from SUAT. The university also conducts Sharda University Scholastic Aptitude Test (SUSAT) exam to provide upto 100% scholarships to the qualifiers.

The NTA will administer the JEE Main 2026 test in two sessions. JEE Main 2026 application form session 1 is now available. Because the exam will be given twice, the NTA will issue a different application form for the April sessions. According to the timetable, the Joint Entrance Main Exam 2026 will be held in two sessions: JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will be held between January 21 to 30, 2026 and JEE Main Session 2 Exam 2026 will be held between April 2 - April 9, 2026.
