My suggestion to all the juniors would be to think properly and then choose your college. So, if you don’t have a good score in JEE Main or in JEE Advance, do not worry. There are a lot of colleges that will provide the same facilities as NITs and IITs, says Gunjan Paul.

My suggestion to all the juniors would be to think properly and then choose your college. So, if you don’t have a good score in JEE Main or in JEE Advance, do not worry. There are a lot of colleges that will provide the same facilities as NITs and IITs, says Gunjan Paul.

This is the peak time to think about college admission, which is the best college for you and what about the fees and all those things. College selection is the most important part of your life. If you choose a college which doesn’t suit you, your entire bachelor will be messed up and there will be only a few paths left to overcome the situation. So my suggestion to all the juniors would be to think properly and then choose your college. So, if you don’t have a good score in JEE Main or in JEE Advanced do not worry. There are a lot of colleges that will provide the same facilities as NITs and IITs. If you did not get a good score and you have a concern about high fees, then I will tell you to choose the University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur, in short, UEM Jaipur. It is a Tier 3 college with pretty good resources.

Getting admission in UEM Jaipur is the easiest part of college life. Now, the college has already started advertising on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. There is a form where you have to fill your details and the admission office will reach you over call or mail. Then they will most probably tell you about IEMJEE which is an admission test to get into UEM Kolkata and UEM Jaipur. The score of that test doesn’t matter because of the concept of choosing own subject/stream. If you wait for H.S. results and if you have more than 60%, the admission office would not ask to take any test. UEM takes admission up to October. First, you have to pay Rs.85,000 which includes total registration fees and all other costs and Rs. 75,000 from that amount is your tuition fees and hostel and food charge.

My process of admission was pretty straight forward. I went to UEM Kolkata office which is at Saltlake. They asked me some questions about my subject choice and other results. As I had enough score to get into NIT Srinagar, they did not ask me for any test. I told them that I would take CSE and they smiled and told me that I was eligible for CSE. My parents paid the amount and I got admitted there.
