By: Harpreet Madan
Harpreet Madan says, there are a few things which if every student follows on a regular basis, then there is a high chance for that student to qualify the JEE Mains exam.
Every year lots of students prepare for this exam and every year lots of students score excellent rank in the JEE Mains Exam. But scoring an excellent rank in JEE Mains is actually not a very easy task. So, in addition, to score or grab an excellent rank in the JEE Main, every student has remember and follow some essential tips also helping them qualify for the Advanced exam. Actually, there are a few things which if every student follows on a regular basis, then there is a high chance for that student to qualify the JEE Mains exam.
- Last week Tips & Tricks: I would recommend students that there are various resources available in the market (online and offline) which student can follow and can help them with their preparation. In addition, practising and solving sample papers on a regular basis is one way to may sure you score well in JEE Main exam. It is important for every student not to panic or feel pressurized in the last week of preparation. One of the things to do in the last week’s time is to revise all the basic concepts rather than to move or switch to a new topic or concept because that time period is to polish the basics rather than to move to new concepts.
- Tips on Time Management: - It is important for every student to make an equal balance in study related to 12th course and preparing for IIT- JEE Mains Exam. According to my point of view, the ratio of 12th exam vs. JEE Main Exam should be 8:4 in terms of hours to devote for studies.
- Scoring Topics (Chapters/Preparation Strategy):- As per scoring topics is concerned, the main scoring areas should be Mathematics and Chemistry.
- Revision Approach/Study Plan: - Revision approach/study plan will vary from student to student and according to their mental strength, how he/she can perform a regular revision approach.
- Managing 12th & Entrance Preparation: - 12th standard preparation is not actually different from JEE Mains exam. Students should devote time in the ratio of 8:4 hours to their 12th standard preparation and JEE Main exam.
