Engineering Colleges accepting COMEDK UGET for B.Tech in Bangalore

Candidates seeking admission to BE/BTech courses have to first appear for the national-level entrance examination. For BE admission, candidates need to qualify Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), JEE Mains entrance examinations, COMEDK or UGET. The applicants are then shortlisted on a merit basis. The minimum eligibility required for admission is Class 12 with a minimum of 45% aggregate

The total seats available for B.E. / B.Tech programme at Reva University and Bangalore Institute of Technology are 2100 and 1380, respectively. While RU offers BTech/B.E. courses in 27 specialisations and BIT offers 15 specialisations. Hence, there are higher chances of getting a seat at Reva University due to higher seats.

The students seeking admission in a BE course of RV Institute of Technology and Management have to submit the important documents. Candidates shall keep the scanned copies handy. The total seats offered for B.E. / B.Tech at NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology and Acharya Institute of Technology are 1200 and 1140, respectively. While NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology offers this course in 11 specialisations, Acharya Institute of Technology offers the same in 13 specialisations. Hence, there are higher chances of getting a seat at NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology due to higher seats.

The total seats offered for B.E. / B.Tech at NMAM Institute of Technology, NITTE University and Global Academy of Technology are 1320 and 960, respectively. While NMAM Institute of Technology, NITTE University offers this course in 14 specialisations, Global Academy of Technology offers the same in 10 specialisations. Hence, there are higher chances of getting a seat at NMAM Institute of Technology, NITTE University due to higher seats.

It depends on the specific specialisation. While the main BE in Computer Science and Engineering branch at Sapthagiri College of Engineering closed at 66,750, you might have a better chance in Data Science or Electronics and Communication, which had similar or slightly higher closing ranks.

Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology hasn't released any official dates for BBA admission for 2025. However, candidates can refer to the accepted exam dates, including COMEDK Exam Date 2025 or KCET Exam Date 2025. Candidates are required to appear in any one of the entrance exam to be eligible for the BTech course admission. 

The KCET 2025 exam was conducted on April 16 & 17. KEA conducts KCET 2025 exam in offline centre based mode. 

 

Candidates who are officially admitted to the BTech course under the Sapthagiri NPS University are eligible for the scholarships. Further, candidates must be a Indian Nationals to be eligible for the scholarships.
