Engineering Colleges accepting CUET for B.Tech in Pune

BTech is a four-year course available in six specialisations, namely BTech in CSE, and Bioengineering, Mechanical, Chemical, and Semiconductors, and Civil. Candidates after completing Class 12 in relevant subjects with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category) can apply for BTech courses. Aspirants who have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category) can also apply for BTech CSE.

Candidates who were unable to appear for any national or state level engineering entrance exams can appear for the Pimpri Chinchwad University entrance exam to qualify for admissions into the BTech course at in the institute. To register for this exam, candidates need to go on the website of the institute and register for the entrance exam.

NICMAR University has a total of 60 seats for the BTech in Civil Engineering programme. The seat allotment is carried out as per the sanctioned seat intake. Yes, candidates can get admission to K J Somaiya School of Engineering for its BTech programme without appearing for the JEE Mains exam. The school accepts various entrance exams, such as JEE Main, MHT CET, CUET, SAT India, and PERA CET to shortlist the BTech candidates. Those who are selected must present the relevant documents to prove their eligibility.

CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in May/June for 37 subjects. The mode of examination is CBT (Computer Based Test). NTA did not release official notification for CUET UG date sheet. Candidates can know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses.
