Q:   What is the total score in CUET UG?

CUET UG total marks is 250 Marks for each subject. Candidates can choose up to five CUET subjects. Each subject paper has 50 questions which will total to 250 marks for each subject. For every correct answer, candidate will get 5 marks. The CUET total marks will be uniform for all 37 subjects. The Total CUET subjects marks can vary depending on the number of subjects chosen by candidates.

  • If three CUET subjects chosen: 750 total marks
  • If four CUET subjects chosen: 1000 total marks
  • If five CUET subjects chosen: 1250 total marks
Q:   In which cities can I appear for CUET UG exam?
A: 

Candidates can select the preferred exam city based on permanent or present address while filling the application form. NTA allots the CUET exam centre based on the preferences added. NTA conducts CUET UG exam across 306 exam cities in India and 15 cities abroad.

Q:   How is CUET UG cut off calculated?
A: 

The CUET UG cut off is determined by CUET participating universities seperately. Parameters on the basis of which CUET UG cut off is released are:

  • Total number of candidates that appeared for the CUET UG exam
  • The number of seats offered by the participating universities through CUET UG
  • The difficulty level of the CUET exam
  • Overall performance of the test takers (pass percentage/ score range, etc.)

CUET cut off is based on the percentile of the candidate. To calculate the CUET percentile following formula is applied:

100*Number of candidates appeared in the session with a raw score is equal to or less than a candidate/ total number of candidates appeared for CUET UG.

Q:   What is LPU fees for BTech?
A: 

The total fee for BTech range from INR 4.5 lakh -INR 36 lakh. The fee is calculated based on the semester fee.  Admission to BTech course is based on LPUNEST or CUET UG score. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted aspirants need to pay the course fee to confirm their admission. Candidates are first required to register with an application fee for LPUNEST. The exam fee for LPUNEST is INR 1,000 for males and INR 500 for females.

KIET Ghaziabad has mentioned that it can allow candidates to apply for BTech admissions through their Class 12 board exam scores. However, it only does so under special circumstances which have not been mentioned.

Thus, it is possible to apply for BTech at KIET Ghaziabad directly after completing Class 12th. Candidates will need to contact the admission desk to find what conditions must be met to get direct admission.

Yes, if you have a valid three-year diploma from any branch of engineering with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Then you can apply for BTech Lateral entry admissions at the university.
