The NIT Sikkim CSE average package or other placement details are not out yet. However, the overall placement percentage for BTech has been released. During 2024 placements, 75.37% of BTech students were placed. Earlier, 83.70% of BTech students were placed in the 2023 drive. The seats availability for offered courses at ATTC - Advanced Technical Training Centre goes up to 315. Courses offerred by ATTC - Advanced Technical Training Centre are approved by eminent Government bodies such as AICTE.

Sikkim Institute of Science and Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

The seats availability for offered courses at Centre For Computers and Communication Technology goes up to 255. Courses offerred by Centre For Computers and Communication Technology are approved by eminent Government bodies such as AICTE.

Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT) is ranked first in Sikkim and second among the top engineering colleges of eminence in the 2018 Competion Success Review-GHRDC Ranking. Some say SMIT is one of the best engineering colleges in the entire North East. 

Facilities: SMIT provides all the expected facilities, and the academics are up-to-date with trending technologies.

Faculty: The faculty is ready to guide students any time. The mathematics department faculty are amazing and very friendly to the students.

Placements: SMIT provides almost 90% of placements for all the branches in B.Tech. In 2021, 2022, and 2023, SMIT made 260, 522, and 366 job offers, respectively, against 350, 377, and 300 candidates for placement.
