B.E. / B.Tech	Candidates appearing for final examination of 10+2/bachelor degree examination in March/April, 2023 are eligible to apply.
After 10th Diploma	Candidate must have passed class 10th and secured at least 35% marks from a recognized Board/University or its equivalent.

The BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus is not the same across all colleges, as every college committee sets a particular coursework pattern at the start of every academic year to be followed for the respective batch. JEE Advanced exam conducted by IIT Madras. Candidates can appear in JEE Advanced two consecutive times. JEE Advanced is held in CBT mode and there are 2 papers in all. Hi, Both these universities are located in Solan and offer the four year BTech programme across multiple specialisations. While the current and past students of Shoolini University have rated it 4.3/5 on Shiksha, those of Bahra have rated it 3.2/5 in their reviews on Shiksha. But if you compare them on the basis of their fee structure, Bahra University's fee for BTech is Rs 5 Lacs and that of SHoolini is comparatively higher at Rs 6.4 lacs.

Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), also known as JUIT Solan, basis its admission through a merit based system or entrance exams for certain courses. Undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate degrees in a variety of subjects are available at JUIT Solan. These programmes include BTech, MTech, MSc, and PhD. National-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, and so on are used to determine admissions. JUIT offer a full-time BE/BTech programme (4-Years). Students need to score highly on the JEE Main exam in order to be admitted to this program. The JEE Mains shortlisted candidates are invited for the JoSAA counselling.

Candidates willing to take admission to the BTech programme at IIIT Una must fulfil the following requirements:

• The candidate must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths with a minimum of 75% aggregate.
• Also, candidates must have valid JEE-Main ranks based on which they can apply for the common counselling process through JoSAA and CSAB.
• Lastly, selected candidates will have to report to the admission cell at IIIT Una for document verification and fee payment leading to final seat allotment.

NTA has announced the JEE Main 2026 exam date for Session 2. JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam will be held from 2nd April 2026 to 9th April 2026. The JEE Main Application Form 2026 for Session 2 will be available on the website.
