The KIITEE exam is not considered very difficult. The authority will provide the complete fee structure for KIIT B.Tech, including the hostel and mess charges. At the time of admission, candidates have to pay a one-time fee of Rs. 75,000 (Including counselling registration fee of Rs.10,000)

The KIITEE 2026 application process is conducted separately for different phases. The phase 4 registration window is currently open. The eligibility criteria vary depending on the course for which a candidate is applying. The table below covers the eligibility requirements for the BTech programme.

KIITEE 2026 Application Form

The KIITEE 2026 application form was released on November 10, 2025. The direct link for KIITEE registration 2026 is available below. Applicants must check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. To apply for the exam, students have to complete registration, fill the form and upload documents. There is no fee for the KIITEE application form 2026. The last date for KIITEE 2026 registration for phase 3 exam was June 30.

Candidates applying for B.Tech(4 Years) Course should fulfill the following criteria:

  1. Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in 2024, 2025 or appearing in 10+2 examination in 2026 are only eligible to apply for B.Tech (4 Years) course of the University.
  2. Should have studied in regular full time formal education in their schooling/college.
  3. Pass in 10 +2 or its equivalent with at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together.
  4. B.Tech Biotechnology / Integrated M.Tech Biotechnology. Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology taken together.
  5. Should have born on or after 01.07.2005.

Q:   What is the minimum qualifying mark for KIITEE?
A: 

The qualifying marks for the KIITEE are different for each stream or discipline. Candidates securing the minimum qualifying mark will be eligible for further admission. 

  • For BTech programmes of four years duration, the applicant must have passed 10+2 in 2024 or 2025 or must be appearing in the final year examination. The minimum qualifying mark for BTech admission is 60% in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. 

  • BTech and MTech Biotechnology's minimum qualifying mark is 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. 

  • For MTech courses, B.E or BTech or any equivalent specialisation in a relevant engineering and technology discipline with a first-class or equivalent CGPA or first-class MCA/first-class MSc are required.

KIITEE 2026 Counselling

The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology conducts the KIITEE 2026 counselling online. The counselling process comprises choice filling, seat allotment, verification and reporting to the allotted college. The KIITEE counselling is conducted based on the ranks obtained in the exam. Candidates have to attend the counselling as per the schedule. Shortlisted students who are called for counselling have to bring original documents (listed below) and token fees to the counselling centre.
