The level of exams obviously differs as the participating universities are different. CLAT is a national level exam where the participating universities are all National Law universities, but same is not the case with RULET. 

The University of Rajasthan declared the RULET result 2026 on May 31, 2026. The result was released on its website - admissions.univraj.org/ruletPanel. Candidates have to use their roll number and date of birth to access the RULET 2026 result.

The expected RULET cutoff for the General category is likely to be 220+ marks. For SC/ST categories around 180+ marks. Cutoffs may vary based on difficulty and applicant numbers. 

The University of Rajasthan conducts the RULET counselling process. It is managed directly by the university for admission to its five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. program, usually following the release of the merit list based on written exam scores, group discussions, and personal interviews. 

Candidates have to deposit the admission fee through e-payment mode on the official website. As per the RULET 2026 counselling notification, apart from the admission/course fee of INR 50,480, a candidate need to pay INR 100 as the counselling registation fee on the day of counselling. However, they need to note that the RULET admission fee is the subject to change.

Candidates need to note that the fee mentioned here is based on previous year's counselling notification. The fee may change in 2025.

RULET question paper carries 150 MCQs of 300 marks. Each question carries 3 marks and there is no negative marking. Questions in the exam come from the English language, Legal Reasoning, Current Affairs and General Knowledge, and Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.

The exam officials will notify you about the RULET exam marking scheme through the notification. However, examiners are given 2 marks for correct answer and there will be no negative marking.

RULET 2026 exam had no negative marking, which means no marks will be deducted for the wrong answer attempted. 

Candidates appearing for RULET 2026 exam day had to carry the following items along with the admit card:

• A valid photo Identity proof as issued by the government authority
• Pen with blue or black ink, and an HB pencil to mark answers in OMR sheet
• A transparent water bottle

RULET 2026 exam date was May 23, 2026. The exam was conducted in offline mode.

• Check the test centre, name and timings beforehand.
• Carefully read the exam instructions that the authority have provided on the admit card.

Yes, the varsity allowed candidates to fill and submit the application form in offline mode. Those who wish to apply online could visit the uniraj.ac.in. Aspirants must make sure they fill the form on or before the deadline.
