The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) has issued the exam pattern for BTech in the information brochure. The KIITEE-Engineering 2026 pattern is as follows -
- The mode of the exam is online with a test duration of 150 minutes.
- A total of 40 questions will be asked in the computer-based test.
- Questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- The KIITEE question paper will be in English.
- Each correct answer carries four marks and there is negative marking of one mark for an incorrect option.
The KIITEE Engineering (BTech) question paper comprises three sections, namely- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each section carries a total of 40 questions, i.e, Physics - 40 questions, Mathematics - 40 questions, and Chemistry - 40 questions. For each correct answer, 4 marks will be rewarded. A negative marking of one mark is deducted for an incorrect answer. The total marks allotted for the KIITEE BTech question paper is 480 marks.

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology will announce the dates for KIITEE slot booking dates. Applicants appearing in the exam must complete the slot booking online at kiitee.kiit.ac.in.
In case a candidate misses the deadline, the slot will be allotted randomly on the basis of availability.
