CSEET Question Papers: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India does not release official question papers. However, to help students prepare well for the exam, ICSI has released the official CSEET sample papers at icsi.edu. CSEET Question Paper Pattern
ICSI has restructured the exam structure for CSEET. Check out table below to get CSEET question paper pattern, to get an idea about important details related to CSEET test paper:

Note: The official CSEET exam will be conducted in offline mode. Mock Tests for CSEET were released by ICSI earlier, when the exam was conducted in remote proctored mode. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India conducted CSEET exam in offline mode for the first time in June.

Commonly asked questions
There are no prescribed number of attempts for CSEET. Candidates can appear for the CSEET exam in multiple attempts until qualified. The validity of the CSEET scorecard is one year. ICSI conducts CSEET examination three times in a year, i.e., February, June and October. Candidates can choose to appear for any of the three sessions. However, candidates must stay updated with the cut off dates of CSEET examination.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India introduced the revised syllabus for CSEET. Here are the key difference between the old and new syllabus of CSEET: 1. Subjects: The number of subjects has been increased in CSEET. The new subject included in CSEET syllabus is Quantitative Aptitude in part 4. 2. Elimination of Viva Voce: Viva Voce section will now stand cancelled. Earlier the CSEET included of Presentation and Viva Voce section. 3. Entry route: The new syllabus has made the exclusive mode of entry through CSEET to CS course. The marks are distributed equally among each section of CSEET. Yes, CSEET mock test is released in online mode only. ICSI conducts the official CSEET mock test for each session prior to the exam days. Registered candidates are sent the CSEET mock test link on teir registered email ID. CSEET mock test in conducted in remote proctored mode like the actual exam. Candidates can also download the CSEET mock test Free PDF.
CSEET total marks are 400 marks. The question is divided into four sections of 100 marks each:
- Business Communication
- Fundamentals of Accounting
- Economic and Business Environment
- Business Laws and Management
For every correct answer candidates will get one or two marks. There will be no negative marking.
- Place camera in front of system.
- Face must be visible.
- There must be light in room.
- Hair, clothes, or any other object must not cover face.
- There should be no other person in room.
- Exam must be taken in SEB.

ICSI conduct CSEET examination for three hours per subject. Candidates have to attempt questions in given time. Candidates will not be given extra time under any condition. The question paper will be submitted once the duration is over. ICSI conducts the CSEET exam in offline mode.
ICSI does not mention the number of questions to be asked in its CSEET exam pattern. However, the total marks per subject for CSEET exam is 100.
CSEET Business Communication syllabus includes:
- Essentials of Good English Grammar and its usage
- Communication
- Business Correspondence
- Common Business Terminologies.
The best time to start solving the CSEET mock test papers is after completing the 60-70% of the CSEET syllabus. Candidates can start soving the CSEET mock test to help apply the basics studied. Candidates must commence to solve the CSEET mock tests one or two months prior the exam date making sure to solve minimum of two mocks each day.

Quantitative Aptitude section was added from CSEET November 2023 session onwards. The syllabus for Quantitative Aptitude comprises of basic mathematics till class 10th. Candidates may refer the NCERT books for Quantitative Aptitude preparation. The topics covered under Quantitative Aptitude of CSEET exam is as follows: 1. Number System Computation of Whole Number Decimal and Fractions Relationship between numbers 2. Fundamental arithmetical operations Percentages Ratio and Proportion Square roots Averages Interest (Simple and Compound) Profit and Loss.
Logical Reasoning of CSEET covers below topics:
- Logical Reasoning

ICSI conducted CSEET examination in online mode until January. From CSEET June session, the exam is being conducted in offline mode. Candidates must check the exam-day guidelines to avoid disqualification.
