
Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has revised the CSEET exam pattern. As per the revised pattern, the exam will now be held in offline mode from June 2026 session onwards. ICSI has released the CSEET exam datesheet for each subject. Candidates preparing for CSEET exam must stay updated with the latest pattern and syllabus. ICSI CSEET June 2026 exam will be held from June 01 to June 04 in offline mode. The exam will be held at multiple cities across India. ICSI conduct CSEET examination for three hours per subject. Candidates have to attempt questions in given time. Candidates will not be given extra time under any condition. The question paper will be submitted once the duration is over. ICSI conducts the CSEET exam in offline mode.

There will be no negative marking in the CSEET OMR based paper i.e., Business Laws and Management.

CSEET June 2026 exam will be conducted in offline mode. Candidates appearing for the CSEET exam must make sure to follow the exam day guidelines mentioned below:

There are no prescribed number of attempts for CSEET. Candidates can appear for the CSEET exam in multiple attempts until qualified. The validity of the CSEET scorecard is one year. ICSI conducts CSEET examination three times in a year, i.e., February, June and October. Candidates can choose to appear for any of the three sessions. CSEET total marks are 400 marks. The question is divided into four sections of 100 marks each:
- Business Communication
- Fundamentals of Accounting
- Economic and Business Environment
- Business Laws and Management
For every correct answer candidates will get one or two marks. There will be no negative marking.
- After logging in, candidates must read the instructions carefully.
- Each question is the CSEET question paper will have four answers marked as A, B, C and D. Candidates must choose one option and mark the same
- Candidates can make changes in chosen answer by simply clicking on the other option
- Candidates must not click on 'End Test' tab without answering the questions
- Countdown clock will start as soon as the exam is started

Live proctors will watch the CSEET exam online. The process will be coducted as:
- Proctors will be able to chat with the exam taker in an active chat session.
- Proctors can also communicate with the test takers through a microphone or camera.
- During the exam, the activities of the candidate and screen will be captured frequently.
- Each session is finished either by the test taker, automatically after the end of the allotted time, or by the proctor. All audio, video, text messages and recorded events are saved in the system and are attached to the session protocol.
- At the end of the exam, the proctor will leave a remark (positive or negative) about the candidate. If there are no violations during the exam, then the proctor will mark the candidate positive.
In case of disruptions during the CSEET online examination viz. , No network connection, no internet connectivity, power disruptions, network disconnection due to Wi-Fi disabled, or any other such scenarios, candidates will be allowed to log in again. Candidates will be able to continue the test from the last question attempted. All the answers are saved automatically. In such cases, the remote proctor will keep a tab. Candidates must make sure to log in immediately after getting logout. Additionally, candidates will be given extra 15 minutes to compensate for the time loss if there are any disruptions with the permission of the live proctor. Candidates practicing any unfair means will be disqualified. Candidates must ensure to follow the exam day guidelines for the smooth conduct of the exam.
