CSEET 2026
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India will soon declare the result for CSEET Oct 2026 exam. Candidates who appeared for the October session in offline mode will be able to download their scorecards by entering their login details at official website. ICSI has also released the exam dates for CSEET February 2027 session at icsi.edu. The exams will be conducted between Feb 01 and Feb 06, 2027. The registration window for the February 2027 exam is open at smash.icsi.edu. Candidates filling the CSEET application form must ensure to fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria. Commonly asked questions
CSEET exam centres refer to the centre where the entrance exam is conducted in offline mode. As ICSI now conducts CSEET exam in offline mode, the list of exam centres where CSEET will be conducted is available on the official website.
There are no prescribed number of attempts for CSEET. Candidates can appear for the CSEET exam in multiple attempts until qualified. The validity of the CSEET scorecard is one year. ICSI conducts CSEET examination three times in a year, i.e., February, June and October. Candidates can choose to appear for any of the three sessions. However, candidates must stay updated with the cut off dates of CSEET examination.
No, there will be no negative marking in CSEET exam. For every correct answer candidates will be given one or two marks for each question.

As CSEET exam will be now conducted in offline mode, there is no need for candidates to login to appear for exam. The login details were used earlier when exam was used to be conducted in remote proctored mode.

ICSI CSEET Eligibility Criteria
CSEET eligibility criteria state the education requirement details. Candidates willing to appear for CSEET examination must check the below mentioned criteria before filling the application form:
- Candidate’s age must not be less than 17 years on the date of application.
- Candidate must have completed Class 12th examination or appearing for the final examination.
- Final pass of ICAI/Final pass of ICMAI/ Graduates having minimum 50% marks/ Post Graduates are exempted from taking CSEET and will be eligible for direct registration to CS Executive programme.

How to Fill CSEET Application Form?
To complete the CSEET registration, candidates must follow the steps below:
Step 1- Visit the official link provided: smash.icsi.edu
Step 2- Check boxes for documents required and click on tab ‘Proceed to CSEET registration’
Step 3- Complete the CSEET application form by entering the following details:

No, once the registration window for an exam session for CSEET closes, you cannot apply for that session. According to ICSI, "Students will not be allowed to submit the examination form and fee after the stipulated dates and such examination forms will be summarily rejected without intimation /Notice."
Yes, CS Executive Entrance Test will now be held on offline mode. ICSI conducted the last examination in remote proctored mode in January. ICSI introduced the revised CSEET exam pattern, which is applicable from the June examination. As per the latest update, the CSEET exam will now be held in offline mode over a period of four days.
To download CSEET admit card for upcoming session, candidates have to visit official website and click on the Admit Card link. Once the admit card login page opens, enter Application Number and click on 'Get Admit Card'. The CSEET admit card will appear on the screen.

As per ICSI revised guidelines, the CSEET registration remains valid for 3 years from the month of registration.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India declares the CSEET result 10 days after the exam is conducted. Candidates who appear for the exam can download the scorecard online. To download the ICSI CSEET scorecard, candidates must enter their login details at icsi.edu. Candidates who qualify the CSEET exam can apply for the next level of CS course- CS Executive exam.
ICSI releases the CSEET pass percentage soon after the declaration of results. Candidates can know the total percentage of candidates who have qualified the CSEET exam.

No, there is no sectional time limit in CSEET exam. The CSEET exam is conducted for a duration of two hours. Candidates must solve the 140 MCQs within given time. Candidates can attempt any section first.
ICSI does not mention the number of questions to be asked in its CSEET exam pattern. However, the total marks per subject for CSEET exam is 100.
