CSEET question papers are important for preparation. Candidates who are willing to pursue the CS course will have to first appear for the CSEET examination. Q:   What is the total score in CSEET?
A: 

CSEET total score is 200 marks. As pr the CSEET exam pattern, the question paper is divided into four sections viz., Business Communication, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, Economic and Business Environment, and Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude. Each section will consist of 35 questions constituting of one or two marks each. There will be no negative marking for any wrong answer or not attempted question.

Q:   Is CSEET mock test available in online mode?
A: 

Yes, CSEET mock test is released in online mode only. ICSI conducts the official CSEET mock test for each session prior to the exam days. Registered candidates are sent the CSEET mock test link on teir registered email ID. CSEET mock test in conducted in remote proctored mode like the actual exam. Candidates can also download the CSEET mock test Free PDF.

ICSI releases the CSEET mock test for every session. Candidates preparing for the CSEET 2025 January session  session must appear for the mock test conducted online. Authorities will notify the date for CSEET mock test. Candidates will be required to log in with the credentials sent to the registered email address or SMS.

Quantitative Aptitude section was added from CSEET November 2023 session onwards. The syllabus for Quantitative Aptitude comprises of basic mathematics till class 10th. Candidates may refer the NCERT books for Quantitative Aptitude preparation. The topics covered under Quantitative Aptitude of CSEET exam is as follows: 1. Candidates preparing or CS Executive Entrance Test CSEET must download the previous year question paper. It is crucial to solve previous year question paper to acquaint with the CSEET exam pattern and time duration. Q:   How many attempts are there in CSEET?
A: 

There are no prescribed number of attempts for CSEET. Candidates can appear for the CSEET exam in multiple attempts until qualified. The validity of the CSEET scorecard is one year. ICSI conducts CSEET examination four times in ayear i.e, January, May, July and November. Candidates can choose to appear for any of the four sessions. However, candidates must stay updated with the cut off dates of CSEET examination.

The topics covered under Business Environment of CSEET exam is as follows: 1. Q:   When should I start solving the CSEET mock test papers?
A: 

The best time to start solving the CSEET mock test papers is after completing the 60-70% of the CSEET syllabus. Candidates can start soving the CSEET mock test to help apply the basics studied. Candidates must ideally commence to solve the CSEET mock tests one or two months prior the exam date ensureing to solve minimum of two mocks each day.

Q:   What is the difference between CSEET old and new syllabus?
A: 
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India introduced the revised syllabus for CSEET under 2022. Here are the key difference between the old and new syllabus of CSEET: 1. Subjects: The number of subjects has been increased in CSEET. The new subject included in CSEET syllabus is Quantitative Aptitude in part 4. 2. Elimination of Viva Voce: Viva Voce section will now stand cancelled from November 2023 session examination onwards. Earlier the CSEET included of Presentation and Viva Voce section. 3. Entry route: The new syllabus has made the exclusive mode of entry through CSEET to CS course. The marks are distributed equally among each section of CSEET. Q:   What is the duration of CSEET exam?
A: 

ICSI will conduct the CSEET examination for a duration of two hours (120 minutes). Candidates will have to attempt 200 Multiple Choice Questions within the given duration. Candidates will not be given extra time under any circumstances. The question paper will be automatically submitted once the duration is over. ICSI conducts the CSEET exam in remote proctored mode.

ICSI conducts the CSEET examination in online mode i.e.m remote proctored mode. In this mode of examination, candidates can appear for the exam from the place of their comfort. However, in this mode of examination, candidates must ensure to follow the exam day guidelines to appear for the remote proctored mode examination. Candidates failing to meet the criteria, will be disqualified.
