As per Shiksha poll on Which is the most challenging section of CSEET exam? Find details below:
- Business Communication: 32%
- Current Affairs & Quantitative Aptitude: 32%
- Legal Aptitude & Logical Reasoning: 24%
- Economic & Business Environment: 12%
The above Shiksha poll indicates that Business Communication and Current Affairs & Quantitative Aptitude is considered the most challenging sections with 32% votes in each, followed by Legal Aptitude, while Economic & Business Environment is seen as relatively easier.

ICSI conducts the CSEET examination in online mode- remote proctored mode. In this mode of examination, candidates can appear for exam from the place of their comfort. In this mode of examination, candidates must follow the exam day guidelines to appear for the remote proctored mode examination. Candidates failing to meet the criteria, will not be considered for further registrations.

- Hair, clothes, or any other object must not cover face.
- There should be no other person in room.
- Exam must be taken in SEB.

Live proctors will watch the CSEET exam online. The process will be coducted as:
- Proctors will be able to chat with the exam taker in an active chat session.
- Proctors can also communicate with the test takers through a microphone or camera.
- During the exam, the activities of the candidate and screen will be captured frequently.
- Each session is finished either by the test taker, automatically after the end of the allotted time, or by the proctor. All audio, video, text messages and recorded events are saved in the system and are attached to the session protocol.
- At the end of the exam, the proctor will leave a remark (positive or negative) about the candidate. If there are no violations during the exam, then the proctor will mark the candidate positive.

The number of students registered or appeared for the CSEET exam is not notified by ICSI. Soon after the declaration of results, ICSI announces the CSEET pass percentage which shows the percentage of students who have cleared the CSEET exam.

CSEET total marks are 200 marks. The question is divided into four sections:
For every correct answer candidates will get one or two marks. There will be no negative marking. CSEET total score will for each subject will be 100 marks from June 2026 onwards.
