UPSC CAPF Application Form 2025 Out: Form Correction & Apply Online Link

The Union Public Service Commission mention the UPSC CAPF application fee in the officail notification. The candidates can check their category application fee in the official notification. The candidates can submit the application fee in offline or online mode. 

The UPSC CAPF exam application fee is INR 200 for the written exam.

The UPSC registration number is required to fill the CAPF application form. The registration number is also needed to make corrections in the form, checking the application status, and downloading the admit card.

The Union Public Service Commission mention the age consideration date in the official notification. The candidates should note that the UPSC CAPF age limit will be considered on August 1 of the exam year. The Commission mention that the age limit to apply for the UPSC CAPF Exam is between 20 to 25 years.

Candidates who get recruited through the UPSC CAPF exam receive salary based on their rank. The CAPF salary includes base pay, grade pay, and additional benefits and perks. The CAPF Assistant Commandants pay scale begins at INR 56,100 during training and can go up to INR 1,77,500 – INR 2,25,000. The CAPF AC post also enjoys additional perks and allowances including DA, HRA, FAA, TPT and others.

The Union Public Service Commission released the official UPSC CAPF 2024 notification on April 24, 2024. Along with the notification, the UPSC CAPF 2024 application process started on April 24, 2024. The Commission provided 20 days to the candidates to fill out the online applications. 

The candidates shoud note that the UPSC CAPF exam 2024 will be conducted on Augsut 4, 2024.

The Union Public Service Commission conduct the CAPF (AC) exam to recruit candidates for post of Assistant Commandant in the Central Armed Police Forces in:

• Border Security Force (BSF)
• Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
• Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)
• Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)
• Assam Rifles (AR)
• National Security Guard (NSG)

It is a Gazetted post and the eligibility criteria for this post is mentioned in the notification. The educational qualification required to apply for the CAPF exam is a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

The UPSC CAPF application correction date 2025 has been announced by the Commission. The CAPF application form correction window will be active from March 26 to April 1, 2025.  Candidates who want to make change in their OTR profile or application form, they can do so during this period. No change will be allowed in the UPSC CAPF registration profile after the closing of the online correction window.

The UPSC CAPF eligibility states-

• Candidates must citizen of India or subject of Nepal and Bhutan.
• The minimum age limit is 20 years and upper age limit is 25 years. 
• Candidate must hold a Bachelors degree from any recognised university.

The age limit to apply for the UPSC CAPF Exam is between 20 to 25 years. The Union Public Service Commission mentions the age conditions for the candidates in the exam notification.

The Union Public Service Commission releases the official notification in April. The preliminary exam is conducted in August and its result is announced in the same month. After the written exam result, the Commission conduct the physical efficiency teat (PET). The result of PET is released in March next year and after it the interviews are conducted.

The final result is released in June/July next year. So it will be take more than a year to complete the exam process.

The interview round in the UPSC CAPF AC exam carries 150 marks. Candidates must perform well in this round to get selected for appointment as an Assistant Commandant in the Central Armed Police Forces.

The candidates should note that the written exam in UPSC CAPF exam is folllowed by the Physical Efficiency Test conducted by the designated authority. The Commission mention the physical requirements in the official notification in the following manner:
