The TSTET Application Form link will be shared in this article once it gets activated. Candidates will be able to fill out the TSTET Application Form online mode. The TS TET application process comprised various stages such as payment of fee, filling of the application form and uploading of documents.

How to Apply Online for TS TET 2023?
Candidates need to fill out the TSTET application form 2023 in online mode as per the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Pay TS TET Application Fee
To start with, candidates need to pay TSTET 2023 application fee in online mode through TSONLINE or payment gateway.

At TSONLINE or the payment gateway, candidates need to enter some basic information such as their name, date of birth, mobile number, etc. On receipt of the fee, candidates will be allotted a journal number to proceed toward the next step of the TSTET application process.
Step 2: Fill TS TET Application Form 2023
Next, candidates need to start filling out the TSTET application form 2023 by following the given steps:
- Visit the official website- tstet.cgg.gov.in.
- Click on the ‘Online Application Form’ link.
- Click ‘Yes or No’ if you are appearing for a professional course exam this year.
- Enter the Journal Number, Date of Payment, Date of Birth issued at the time of Online payment.
- Tick the declaration and enter the verification code.
- Click on ‘Verify & Next’.
- Fill in the mandatory fields.
- Upload the scanned image of the photo and save
- Fill the mandatory fields in the ‘Paper and Qualification’ and ‘X-Class and Previous TET details’ sections
- Submit and save the confirmation page
After the successful submission of the TSTET application form, a Candidate ID along with an SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidates.
Note: The official website informs, “Candidates are not required to send hard copy of confirmation page to TSTET unit.”

Candidates need to enter the following details on the TSTET application form:

- Parents’ names
- Date of birth
- Nationality
- Category
- Email ID
- Education-related details such as the name of the institution last attended, marks secured, subjects studied, etc.

TSTET Eligibility Criteria 2023
The candidates who want to appear for TSTET 2023 exam have to full fill the eligibility criteria for Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test 2023. TSTET 2023 exam is divided into two categories: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates clearing TSTET Paper 1 exam will be eligible for teaching posts in primary classes (classes 1 to 5) and those who will qualify for the TSTET Paper 2 exam will be eligible to teach in the upper primary classes (classes 6 to 8). The eligibility criteria have been discussed below in the article.
TSTET 2023 Educational Qualification for Paper 1
The educational qualification has been discussed below for the TSTET 2023 Paper 1 exam:
- Candidates having 10+2 or equivalent with an aggregate of 50 per cent mark are eligible for this examination. For OBC/PwD/SC/ST candidates, the minimum marks are 45 per cent
- Candidates must possess a two-year Diploma in Special Education/4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (B El Ed)/a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
Or,
- Candidates must have a 10+2 degree from a recognized board or equivalent with an aggregate of 45 per cent marks. For OBC/PwD SC/ST candidates, it remains to be 45% in the 10+2 examination
- Candidates should have a two-year Diploma in Special Education/a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ four-year B.El.Ed.
TSTET 2023 Age Limit for Paper 1
Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test does not have any upper age limit to apply for TSTET 2023. However, the candidates must be above 18 years to apply for TSTET 2023 Paper 1.
TSTET 2023 Paper 2 Educational Qualification
The TSTET educational qualification for Paper 2 is slightly different from TSTET Paper 1. The educational qualification details have been given below for the TSTET Paper 2 exam:
- Candidates must have completed their B. Com/ BA/ BSc with a minimum of 50 per cent in aggregate. For OBC/PwD/SC/ST candidates, an aggregate of 45 per cent marks is required
- Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Education specializing in Special Education/ Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.).
Or,
- Candidates must have qualified BSc. /B. Com/BA with 50 per cent aggregate marks. OBC/PwD/SC/ST candidates can apply with 40 per cent aggregate marks.
- Aspirants must have a Bachelor of Education specializing in Special Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.).
Or,
- Candidates should have cleared four-year BA Ed / BSc. Ed course with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks. OBC/ PwD/SC/ ST candidates can apply with 45 per cent aggregate marks.
Or,
- Candidates must qualify for Graduation in Literature/ Bachelor of Oriental Language or its equivalent/ Post-Graduation in the language concerned/ Graduation with Language as one of the optional subjects.
- Aspirants must also have cleared B.Ed. or have a Language Pandit Training Certificate. This criterion is required for language teachers only.
Note: Candidates appearing for the final year Diploma in Elementary Education/ Bachelor of Education examination are also eligible to apply for the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test examination 2023

Age Limit Criteria 2023 for Paper 2
