The Railway Recruitment Board conducted the RRB JE 2024-25 CBT 2 exam on April 22, 2025 (CEN 03/2024) on a single day to shortlist the eligible candidates for document verification. A total of 7951 vacancies for the post of Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant and Chemical Supervisor/Research and Metallurgical Supervisor/Research will be filled. The authority released the RRB JE 2024-25 CBT 2 Answer Key on April 25, 2025, along with the question paper and response sheet PDF. The download link was remained active on the official website at rrbcdg.gov.in till April 30, 2025. In case the objection raised by the candidates is found correct, then the fee paid against such valid objections shall be refunded to the candidate after deduction of applicable bank charges. The refund will be made to the account from which the candidate has made the payment online. The mode of the payment of fee will be through the debit cards/credit cards/UPI /Net banking.

• Open the official website of your respective regional RRB.
• Click on "Junior Engineer Answer Key" under "Latest Announcements" or "Important Links"
• Provide your login credentials ie. Registration number or date of birth.
• Now, click on the Login tab
• The RRB JE CBT 2 Answer key will be displayed on the screen
• Download the answer key and response sheet pdf and cross-check the questions attempted by the candidate

Further, the decision of RRBs on the objections raised shall be final and binding and no further correspondence shall be entertained from the candidates in the matter as per the official notice.

The Railway Recruitment Board provided an opportunity to submit objection to the candidates if any to the RRB JE 2024-25 CBT 2 Shift 2 Answer Key. The RRB JE 2024-25 objection window is open from June 8 to June 12, 2025. Candidates need to pay INR 50 plus applicable Bank Service Charges per question. If in case the objection raised is found correct then the fee paid against the valid objections shall be refunded to the candidate as per the official release. The objection will be paid via online payment gateway through a Debit Card/Credit Card, UPI or Net Banking. Further, objections after the stipulated time frame will not be accepted under any circumstances.

• Open the official website of RRB
• Open the Objection link, which will open a new window
• Click on the "Question Paper & Response" button
• Select the "Raise Objection" option which will be provided near the question that a candidate want to challenge
• Now from the dropdown menu, choose the type of objection if any
• Complete the process by providing the necessary supporting details or uploading the required documents
• Pay the required amount for the objection
• Now, submit the challenge request

CBT Stage 1

Duration: 90 minutes (120 Minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied with Scribe)

No. of Questions: 100

The questions asked will be objective type with multiple choices and are likely to include questions pertaining to Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness and General Science.

CBT Stage 2

As per the official release, short listing of Candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT exam shall be based on the normalized marks obtained by them in the 1st Stage CBT Exam. Total number of candidates to be shortlisted for 2nd Stage shall be 15 times the community wise total vacancy of Posts notified against the RRB as per their merit in 1st Stage CBT. 

Duration: 120 minutes (160 Minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied with Scribe)
No of Questions: 150
