No, mathematics is not compulsory for BHM admission. Students from any stream can apply.

However, basic math is taught during course for accounting, costing, and inventory management. Commerce and Science students may find this easier, but even Arts students can manage with training provided in college.

In a BHM course aspirants are taught food and beverage preparation, housekeeping operations, front office operations, computer applications, business communication, accommodation operations, corporate finance, sales, marketing, public relations, etc. BHM course has theory as well as practical subjects.

Bachelor of Hotel Management syllabus is divided into six semesters over three years. curriculum for Bachelor of Hotel Management subjects includes extensive laboratory work for students to ensure acquisition of necessary knowledge and skill standards in operational areas of catering, front office operation, food production, food and beverage service, and housekeeping. BHM is meant to provide students with all of necessary information to help them excel in their chosen careers.

Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) is mostly 4 year course and it have 8 semesters.

In this course, students study theory and also do practical like housekeeping, food serving, front office and even event work. Many colleges send students for internship in big hotels in last semesters, so they get real experience before job.

Q:   What is the NEET MDS exam pattern?
A: 

NEET MDS is a computer-based exam of three hours duration with two time-bound sections. Part A was for 75 minutes and had 100 questions. Part B had 140 questions to be solved in105 minutes. The timing of the exam was 2 PM to 5 PM. There were a total of 240 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from the NEET MDS syllabus. Each question has four marks and there will be negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer. The following table brings the overview and structure of the NEET MDS exam pattern.
