The Oberoi STEP is conducted for admission to the Oberoi Group of Hotels. 1. The hotel group conducts a systematic training and education programme (STEP). 2. It conducts interviews to narrow down applicants for the institutes hospitality management programs. 3. The hotel operations and kitchen operations courses are available. 4. It is conducted twice a year, in October and February. 5. The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their 12th grade score for the Oberoi STEP interview process. The application process for the 2023 cycle was completed in February.

The age limit for Oberoi step is betwen 18 to 20 years. You should be above 18 years and below 20 years to apply for Oberoi Step entrance exam. 

STEP (Systematic Training and Education Programme) is a three-year programme for students who are between 18 to 20 years of age and have completed or are about to complete class XII. STEP offers comprehensive on the job training in Kitchen operations or hotel operations (Front Office / Food and Beverage Service focus and Housekeeping focus) at selected hotels of The Oberoi Group. Alongside training, STEP also facilitates education through a correspondence Bachelor's degree in Tourism Studies from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Upon completion of STEP including the undergraduate studies from IGNOU, you are eligible to join The Oberoi Centre of Learning and development OCLD or Oberoi Central Employment Register OCER. The application process for STEP begins in February each year. STEP takes admission through Group Discussion and Personal Interview only. There is no entrance exam for STEP.
