Absolutely worth it if you want to experience proper college life. Good and knowledgeable.
Placements: I'd give the college a rating of 1/5 regarding placements since there were no placements for our batch/course. Some of the students received a few internship offers. Placement-wise, I don't think it'd be a good option. I've hardly seen any recruiting companies, but I may be wrong since I did my B.A. in English Literature.
Infrastructure: Regarding the infrastructure of the college, I'll say it's just above average. The classrooms in the old building of the college were big and spacious but not very ideal for a good study environment compared to the classrooms in the new building (Jubilee building). The library, though small, is well-maintained and regularly updated. There are two hostels available for the boys—Wann and Duff. It's a 5-8 min walk to the college from both hostels. Hostel life is really good. No ragging, or bullying of any sort. The food is below average, like any other hostel.
Faculty: Teachers in the English department were top-notch. There is no doubt about the quality of education. Also, teachers are regular in class. Only the theory part of the semester exams is tough, thanks to the University of Calcutta. The passing percentage is 35%.
Other: Never fail to meet interesting people from different backgrounds in this particular course. The area in which the college is situated is an ideal spot for students. North Kolkata never disappoints. The college has its own ground, i.e., Bagmari, which is about 2-3 km from the college but walkable.

Become a Caledonian like us.
Placements: I am not involved in any internships yet, but I will provide information based on my friends' experiences. This college does offer internships, with companies like TATA, WIPRO, and many other tech companies recruiting students from this college.
Infrastructure: Despite being one of the oldest colleges in Kolkata, it still boasts excellent infrastructure and architecture. The college provides Wi-Fi, labs, a library, a canteen, a games room, and various other rooms for specific activities. There are different types of clubs, such as drama, singing, and more.
Faculty: The quality of education provided is very good and beneficial for students. The teachers, staff members, and faculty are cooperative and understanding. The teachers are very helpful and highly educated.
Other: Overall, it is a very good experience to be at this college and to be in such a great environment.

It is an outstanding college where you will love to get admitted.
Placements: There are around 70% of the students who were placed. Top recruiting companies include Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, and more. Certain students get job offers just after college for teaching and all. The highest salary package was 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: There is a proper library with old and rare books. The hotel is amazing and clean. Students are really happy to stay in the hostel. The food is tasty.
Faculty: Teachers are all foreign returns. Everyone is good at teaching, and we are lucky to have lecturers like them. They are very helpful and friendly. Sometimes when we are stuck on something, the professor helps us and makes us understand the problem.
Other: I chose this course as I was very much interested in it. I always used to say that I would be admitted to this course as it was a good course.

There are amazing faculty members, but the infrastructure is poor.
Placements: If you study arts here, companies don't visit our college for recruitment, and it was the situation during our tenure. I really don't know whether this situation has changed or not now. I hope our college has at least started providing internships even though not providing placements.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were old here. It is a very old college, so it somewhat looks eerie with huge French windows and fans. The building was a bit dilapidated. However, the library had good books. During my tenure, our college didn't provide Wi-Fi facility, and everything available here looks pretty like the old school.
Faculty: Faculty members here were really good. Professors were knowledgeable and quite helpful. The only drawback was that for general subjects, professors sometimes are from Bengal, so as I was a non-Bengali, it was pretty difficult to grasp things. Overall, the teaching was pretty good. Faculty members in the literature department were one of the best in Calcutta University.
Other: I always had a knack for literature, so I have chosen this course. My favourite subject was victorian literature. Our college should surely improve the infrastructure, and the professors need to think that there are non-Bengal students in the classroom while teaching. The campus crowd wasn't up to the mark as most of them are nerds.

Review of Scottish Church College.
Placements: Students with good skill in the English language were offered placements. During the final year, companies like Indigo visited here to offer jobs. A good percentage of students got placed. Positions that were offered by Indigo were mainly like that of ground staff.
Infrastructure: The English department of Scottish Church College has shaped my aim and interests to enable me to pursue literature in my further studies. The library has a huge number of books which allow students to study with peace. The library is also silent enough to let students study.
Faculty: Teaching which we received in the college was not only limited to college but also always gave us the scope of discovering the bigger world. The course which I have enrolled doesn't aim to make students industry-ready, but it makes students prepare for further studies or sit for exams of jobs.
