A red palace, the Presidency College has third rank in NIRF all over India. It's a reputed college.

Placements: For getting admission in Presidency College, we want to get above 60%. For getting admission in my department, we want to score above 90%. There is not much placement and internship programs in the college, as well as theory. There are many scholarships in our college. By taking this course, we can go for Embassy, public administration, politics, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very beautiful and very old. There is a spacious library, classrooms, and labs. There is no Wi-Fi. In the hostel, there are a lot of facilities. It's a government hostel, so there are not many facilities; however, there is a clean bathroom and mess. There is a room for four students, and each student has one cupboard, one cart, and one chair and table. It is very affordable.

Faculty: In college, teachers are very expert and experienced. They are very intelligent, and all teachers have a Ph.D. in their subjects. Our syllabus is very effective for the future, and it is very simple to get. Every six months, they conduct semester exams, and they are not very tough.

Other: The reason for choosing this course is that I am very interested in this course, and I can get this subject very easily. I also scored high marks in this subject. The only problem in college is that there are no arts functions, and no other festivals are celebrated, only Pongal. The college provides many more scholarships from the central and state government.

Review of Presidency College, Chennai.

Placements: Almost 75% of students got placements in B.Sc. and B.A. Our college offers the best courses in Chennai city and many companies enter our campus for other courses. About 70-99% of students get internships in the arts and science department in our college.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available only in the library. Wi-Fi is not provided in classrooms and labs. The hostel facilities and hostel food are good. There are many hostels and many students like the college canteen food. The medical facility is provided fast.

Faculty: Teachers are slow. They tell meaningful words while teaching the subjects. Semester exams are written. Many times, tests are held. Meaningful words are underlined. We get text messages from college students' groups and staff groups.

Other: I aimed to join the social work department, but I received B.A. Economics. My next plan is to join a law college.

It has a g good infrastructure to study and enjoy the life.

Placements: The salary package offered is Rs. 13,000 per month to Rs. 17,000 per month. The top role is HR. According to their knowledge, about 80% of students get placement opportunities. Many top companies, like HCl PVT LTD, corporate banks like Kotak Mahindra, and other financial institutions are offering jobs to students.

Infrastructure: We have free Wi-Fi in the library. Our college has a good infrastructure. Food is available in the canteen, and the hostel mess food is likely to be good based on your opinion. The institution gives the more importance to sports.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. All of them have doctorate degrees. They are good at teaching. There are also personality development classes to improve our careers.

Presidency College, Chennai is worth to students.

Placements: The placements are one of the most important features of a college, but mone of the colleges is fulfilled, but in the case of this college, it is giving placement to an extent, but it never provided placements to which number it promises. I will rate 3.5 out of 5 for the placements on the campus.

Infrastructure: This is the second most important feature of any college. As Presidency College is of the time of English rule, the infrastructure is also kind of English design. Along with this, the classrooms are good and also has a good assemble hall and common room.

Faculty: Along with infrastructure and placements, this is the pillar on which a college stands. Being in Chennai, it has a good flow of English faculty as well as senior students. The course provided in the college English is useful for these courses. So, we can rate the faculty members as good in this college.

It's a very great college to complete your college life.

Placements: For the first time, TCS recruited candidates from Presidency by giving training programme. Most of the medium scale industries and companies from marketing domain came for the recruitment. Those companies are very happy, and they assured that they visit the college on a yearly basis for the recruitment.

Infrastructure: The necessary books are available in the general library. Necessary equipment is available in the labs. As this is a government college, you can't expect more facilities like high-speed Wi-Fi, AC etc. We have a good environment to learn well. No one will stop your knowledge search here. You can survive to the maximum extent to gain knowledge. Another best thing is our college will boost athletes, by giving special booster such as more practice. Never worry about the syllabus if you're thinking to grow well in sports, you can go ahead.

Faculty: It is an autonomous college. You can expect a graduation certificate from Madras University. Now, Presidency is also ranked as a 5th best college in India by NIRF in the year 2018. The college syllabus is good, you can gain more knowledge by knowing some important topics, which will be awesome for your growth.

Other: The college is just opposite to Marina beach. The college conducts events, and the number of events conducted is not less. There are two shifts in the college. However, the day college is more crowded than the evening college, and also the evening college doesn't allow maximum courses. The scholarship will be provided based on the caste and economic background. If you are in the hostel, you can expect hostel fees also.

I am satisfied because the college has already fed the optimum knowledge. It is awesome.

Placements: In the year 2017, for the pass out students, TCS conducted placement programme which consists 40 days training and placement through its drive. 30 students got selected out of 80. The chances were only given to those who participated in the training. Other than TCS, some small companies have conducted placement drives.

Infrastructure: The college is just opposite to the seashore, Chennai. The college has a computer lab, physics lab, zoological lab, etc. But, as it is a government college, it's not up to the mark as you expect from a private college. There is always a cool air breeze. The college has a quite natural environment, if you like nature, then this suits you perfectly.

Faculty: Never think all the students will be free here, there are some departments where they admire strict rules like schools. If we do any anti-social activities, we will face severe consequences, as I noted already, it's a government institute where if you concentrate only on studies, it will be better always.

Other: There are full of celebrations in the whole year.

Honest review of colleges.

Placements: Yes moderate placements in 3rd year of undergraduate degree. Percent of around 80 will be easily placed. The package is too low just below rupees 20,000. Those who couldn't opportunities can choose that jobs. Recruiting companies are not that much.

Infrastructure: It has to be improved because it is a old building and it looks like aparting any time. The food in hostel is not that good but the feels are too low which will benefit many who feel like staying out side is expensive. The food should be improved too.

Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Yeahh the course is pretty good. Semester exams are not difficult we can easily pass on So the internals model and semester all the exams are pretty easy to be passing and we can get top scores too.

It is rated as the top 5th college in India by NIRF.

Placements: Many companies visit our college for recruitment. The placement department does excellent work. Our alumni got placed through their own network in companies, but we didn't have any notable alumni. Placements are wonderful in Presidency College. Reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, etc., visit here for the recruitment process.

Infrastructure: Our college has a huge hostel, and about 10 students will share one room. There are PGs near by, which cost Rs. 6,000 per month. Students can get approved course related fields by their own efforts. It is a huge campus, and it has more departments and helpful staff members. Our college timings are from 8.30 am to 1 pm. It is a very old college.

Faculty: Our college has a very fine syllabus, and it is the most updated college. There are updated and very good staff members. Our college provides free English coaching class for vernacular medium students. Teachers teach students how to interact with other students in a good way.

Other: Our campus is huge, and it celebrates festivals like Pongal, Diwali, college day, bus day and department events. We enjoyed them with the crowd.
