Best college, good environment, and good for developing you overall.
Placements: College has a very good placement cell. Many students get placed. There are many companies and great companies that offer placements for the students of Madras Christian College. There are lots of companies walking in and there is no need to worry about placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of Madras Christian College is actually amazing. The college has Wi-Fi connection, but there might be little network issues. Hostel is good, Wi-Fi connection is available, and a great place to enhance talents. It is a great place to develop socialising skills, and it's more a home than hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely qualified and student-friendly. Semester exams are moderate. The curriculum here is excellent. It encourages students to learn more than learning from text. There is a holistic approach for teaching and learning here. It is a great place to feed knowledge.
Other: An amazing greenery environment and the traditions followed here teach something more important. It is a liberal arts and science college, and best place to be your best.

Culture at the core: A college with a long legacy.
Placements: In my Department (Political Science), most students go for higher studies. Only a few opt for placements. Anyhow, internship and placement opportunities are actively circulated among students from their second year. The placement cell in our college does a good job of conducting seminars on the same for students from all departments. Campus recruitment is also available. But mostly only the students from departments like BBA and B. Com will make use of it.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are average. The college has a history of over 175 years. This means that most of the buildings are old. However constant upgrades and additions are made to the campus. A very recent addition is the MRF Innovation Park. A smart classroom is set up in almost all classrooms and departments. There is a separate building for the media and communication departments. The syllabus for Political Science covers almost all topics and the faculty members are also amazing. The quality of the syllabus and faculty members will vary with departments. The hostel in MCC is also very nice. We follow a student-run system and hence we call our hostels halls. We have six Residential halls. Food in the hall is average. Students are encouraged to participate in a lot of cultural and sports events that the college or hall may organize. Residents have more events and opportunities inside the college compared to non-residents. Athletes get free accommodation in halls. But the college facilities need an upgrade.
Faculty: Political Science department faculty members are very knowledgeable and the way they interact with students is also appreciable. All of them are alumni of our college. They have an in-depth knowledge of the subject. They also provide the students the space to express their views and opinions.
Other: MCC is known for its cultural activities and its liberal culture. We have over 30 departments and 6 Residential halls. Each department and hall has its events. The College Cultural Event is Deepwoods. Apart from this we also have other events like aurora, hall meet, etc. This means that the campus will be active throughout the year.

Review of MCC - Madras Christian College.
Placements: The placement opportunities in MCC are really good. The students from my department mostly opt for higher studies. At the same time, some students may get placed in some of the top companies and NGOs. There is a placement cell in the college, and they work through all the placements opportunities.
Infrastructure: In the political science department of MCC, the classrooms are very well-equipped. The classrooms have all amenities, including fans, lights, blackboards, and smart boards with projectors. In MCC, hostels are called halls. The halls in MCC are the best place to stay while studying in MCC. The hall life will be completely different and better compared to other colleges. The halls provide good quality foods with many varieties every day. The hall has every facility that a student hostel must have. The hall is the best part of MCC life. There are many sports events held in MCC.
Faculty: The teachers in MCC are really experienced and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is superb in MCC. The course curriculum creates interest in every student's mind to enjoy studying. The semester exams are conducted effectively and efficiently.
Other: I chose this course to pursue the civil services examination. The department offers the course in the best way. Life at MCC is incomplete without events. There are many events conducted in MCC. MCC is very famous for its event called Deepwoods. The campus surroundings are the main reason for any MCCian to love MCC.

Madras Christian College is a perfect college.
Placements: As per 2014-17, the placements at MCC is always the best among the other arts and science colleges in Chennai. For departments like commerce and management, we can find RBS, CTS, TCS, and many other top firms for the recruitment. The courses like B.Sc., BCA, and B.A. students are well placed in many companies for the process of operations, management, voice, and customer services.
Infrastructure: MCC is known for its Scottish tradition. MCC is slight backwards in infrastructure. Almost 350-acres of college will be filled with flora and fauna. Still, we got advanced laboratories for science departments, and Glen McGrath opened new sports arena during 2016. There are facilities like 3 hostels for men and 3 hostels for women, and the centralised air-conditioned auditorium was opened during 2014.
Faculty: MCC is an autonomous institute. All the faculty members prepares their own curriculum. Our curriculum is well updated than the university curriculum. That's the reason why the MCC is on top in both academics and sports. The faculty members are very friendly. They are always available on a phone call at any time to clear our doubts.
Other: Every weekend, there will be some cultural functions organised by any of the 33 departments. All the 6 hostels have their hostel function during the even semester. MCC has India's best cultural fest organised for 3 days called as Deepwoods.

Absolutely loved studying there. Environment is beautiful, friendly professors .

90% and the student got a job in the same department. Others got placed in different organisations.
Indian administrative officer, IFS,IPS etc.
Infrastructure: Libraries, Galleried classrooms etc
Very good food in the canteen. Extraordinary sports and games etc.Lifein MCC is very rewarding. Beautiful environment to study in. Cross cultural students accepting one another to bring each other up. It is a very good place to study.
Faculty: Yes the teachers are vey helpful.
If a student want to study civil service, then this subject is very relevant.
It is not very difficult. Passing percentage is 50?. If one has wide view of the subject one is studying , then it will be very easy to study.
Other: One can learn about Current affairs and have wide idea of general knowledge.
More of clear topics.
