Good infrastructure but placements are not good for economics.

Placements: To be honest placements for B.A. Economics is not that good. If you expect to get a good package I suggest you do post post-graduation. If you pursue M.A. in Economics at PSG you might get a good package. Also, only very few students opt for placements in B.A. Economics.

Infrastructure: Classrooms for B.A. Economics (self-finance) will be in commerce block of PSGCAS. Classrooms are neat with good infrastructure. College Wi-Fi is available. About the course structure, you will study mathematical methods for economics and statistics which are very important. Hostel facilities are good but if you expect tasty food then college hostel is not for you. Other than that it is good but hostel rules for girls are very strict as compared to boys.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. They clarify your doubts even before and after class hours. Course curriculum is not that good because sometimes you will be studying some irrelevant subjects to economics. Semester exams are not so difficult. Studying a night before an exam also makes you score more than 75%. Minimum passing percentage is 40%. Faculty members are very kind.

Other: Events and fests are held every year but it won't be that good. Pongal celebration will be good. Scholarships will be provided if you meet the eligibility criteria. Campus has lots of trees and campus crowd won't be that congested.

Our college provides good infrastructure, teaching, and placement opportunities.

Placements: In our college, around 80% of students are placed. We have multiple training sessions that make students ready for their placements or job interviews. Top recruiting companies like Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, PwC, etc., visit our campus.

Infrastructure: Our campus is spread over a few decadent acres. There are three indoor auditoriums and one outdoor auditorium. The library has more than 100,000 books. There are two canteens in the college and eight educational buildings. We have a sports auditorium, numerous outdoor courts, and eight hostel buildings for both boys and girls.

Faculty: The course curriculum is one of the best. Only two courses in the whole of India provide this type of integrated curriculum. Our teachers are knowledgeable and help students. There are various other extracurricular subjects.

I made amazing memories in the college.

Placements: Most of the students are not aware of economics, but there is a lot of scope for economics. Almost 100% of the students got placed in our course. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Infosys, etc. Economics has more scope on civil services, group 1 to 4, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our department is very good. There are five classrooms allotted for economics and separate labs and library. There are three canteens and a pharmacy for students medical help and physical department. Hostel food is amazing, and non-vegetarian food is served on Sunday and some festival days also.

Faculty: Teachers here are awesome and helpful. They are well-knowledgeable, and the government assured teachers. This course curriculum is relevant. Teachers are friendly to us, and teaching is very good. They prepare us to make a new society.

Other: Events conducted here are awesome. Events like Inauguration, Euphoria, Heartbeat, Wizard, etc., are the most likeable events where students enjoy the most. Especially the Pongal celebration is the most fabulous event in the college.

Good college as everyone has heard

Placements: Placement is not made strict and there is awareness about future ideas. Top recruiters are Goldman Sachs. The highest package offered is 400000. Not much supported from the college for placements and even on duty is not provided for attending the placements .

Infrastructure: Often complaints rise on quality of mess food but the facilities offered in the hostels are good. Curfew is still an unsolved problem and hostels are not provided to the students of nearby districts. Good support from college for sports. Medical facilities is average.

Faculty: Ph.D. staffs mostly, but the motivation is less. Teaching quality is comparatively better. Doesn't make industry ready but curriculum is somewhat relevant. Teachers have to motivate and try to make the curriculum more practical and have to bring changes in the syllabus.

This is a good college, and they provide good facilities.

Placements: Above 50% of students get placed from the college if they study well. The highest salary offered is around 40,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 8,000 per month. The average salary offered is RS.10,000 per month. Many IT companies and banks visited the college for recruitment. Mostly the role offered was as a manager. The highest salary offered in our course is Rs. 10,000 approximately. Around 30% of students got an internship in banking and IT companies. IT is the best college for UG placements.

Infrastructure: There are no tower facilities available on the campus neither they provide Wi-Fi. No network is available inside the campus. Classroom differs on aided and unaided. Aided classrooms are not good and clean. There are a lot of mosquitoes inside the campus and hostel is good with good food, but there many mosquitoes even in the hostel. Our college has the best library. Free medical services for students are provided, and even students get insurance. High preference for sports students in given. The college has a good canteen at a low price. Many courses are available in the college.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are good both in aided and unaided. We can find some teachers with low teaching and speaking quality. Mostly all teachers are holding their doctorates, but some teachers are weak at communication skill. In unaided the teachers are good at English whereas in aided its vice versa (only a few teachers could communicate properly). The course curriculum is relevant, and it does make students industry-ready.

Other: I opted for this course because I like it and it is easier. Teachers of our college should only communicate in English, and there should be regularly industrial visits. Many events and fests are organised on the campus regularly.
