What is MAH BCA CET 2026

Maharashtra Bachelor of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test (MAH BCA CET) is a state-level entrance test conducted by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra. The exam is conducted for admission to the BCA courses offered by Maharashtra colleges.

Q:   Can I apply for MAH BCA CET 2026 if I am currently in Class 12?
A: 

Yes you are! Students appearing for their 12th exam or equivalent in 2026 are eligible to apply for the MAH BCA CET 2026. They would need to provide their final marksheet during admission.

Q:   How can I select my MAH BCA CET exam centre?
A: 

Candidates will be able to select their choice of MAH BCA CET exam centres while filling out the application form. The preferred three exam cities have to be selected and submitted through the MAH BCA CET application form. As per the preferences and availability, the authorities will allot the MAH BCA CET exam centres. Once the centres are allotted, the candidates will not be allowed to requests for change.

Q:   Can I request to review my MAH BCA CET score?
A: 

No. The authorities will not accept any requests to review the allotted MAH BCA CET scores. The preparation of the MAH BCA CET result will be done carefully by the authorities, therefore, they will not accept review requests.

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • Non-Indians or NRIs are not eligible to apply for MAH BCA CET 2026.

Educational Criteria for BCA CET 2026

CGPA or Grade-Based Results

If your board awards grades or CGPA instead of marks, the conversion to percentage should be done according to the below methods-

Mandatory ID Requirements for MAH BCA CET 2026 Registration

The State CET cell has made the below two documents compulsory for CET registration-

Aadhaar ID Mandatory. Used for authentication during registration. All details (Name, DOB, Father's Name) must exactly match your Class 10th certificate
APAAR ID Mandatory. A unique 12-digit student ID used to link and track all your academic records digitally

Aadhaar Details Update

Ensure your Aadhaar card details are accurate and up to date, and exactly match your official school certificates. Do verify-

  • Your name 
  • Date of birth (as per your Class 10 certificate)
  • Address
  • Father’s name
  • Recent photograph
  • The mobile number linked to the Aadhaar must be current and active for communication.

APAAR ID

Every applicant is now required to have an APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry).

Q:   Can I request to change my allotted MAH BCA CET exam centre?

No, the authorities will not accept any requests from the candidates to change their allotted MAH BCA CET exam centres. Once the centres are allotted, they cannot be changed. Since the allotment of centres are done based on the candidate's preferences and availability, they are advised to be careful while filling out their choices in the MAH BCA CET application form.

Q:   Will objections against the provisional MAH BCA CET merit list be accepted?
A: 

Yes, the authorities will accept objections against the provisional MAH BCA CET merit list online. Candidates will be able to raise grievances about correction in the data present in the merit list online after logging in using the required credentials. The requisite documents to substantiate their claims will have to be submitted before the final date. After all of the grievances are checked, the final merit list will be prepared and released.

Your merit rank is calculated based on your MAH BCA CET exam score. The CET Cell will release a Provisional Merit List first for you to check for errors, followed by a Final Merit List.

How to Generate APAAR ID?

If you don't have an APAAR ID, you must generate it before starting your CET application. You can generate your APAAR ID through the following methods-

1. Via DigiLocker (Recommended)

  • Log in to your DigiLocker account.
  • Search for "APAAR ID" or "Academic Bank of Credits".
  • Enter the required details (Aadhaar number, DOB, and current school/college).
  • Provide consent for Aadhaar-based authentication to generate the ID.

2. Via ABC Portal

  • Visit the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) portal https://www.abc.gov.in/.
  • Select "Student Login"
  • Sign in to your account via DigiLocker
  • Follow the prompts to generate your 12-digit ID

3. Via Your School/College

Many institutions generate APAAR IDs for their students. Contact your current high school or college office and request your APAAR ID.

#If you do not have a valid Aadhaar and APAAR ID, you cannot register for MAH BCA CET 2026.
