MAH BCA CET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements set by the CET Cell. Eligibility is based on citizenship, educational qualification, and minimum marks.

Nationality Requirement

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • Non-Indians are not eligible to apply for MAH BCA CET 2026.

How to Calculate Aggregate Marks 

Candidates should clearly understand how aggregate marks are calculated, for eligibility verification.

  • Aggregate marks mean the grand total of marks obtained in subjects considered by the respective board for class declaration.
  • Only subjects approved by the board for calculating the final result are going to be considered.

CGPA or Grade-Based Results

If your board awards grades or CGPA instead of marks, the conversion to percentage should be done according to the below methods-

Primary Method Use the specific conversion formula provided and certified by your respective board or university
Secondary Method If the board does not provide any formula, follow guidelines mentioned in the MAH CET 2026 Information Brochure
Precision The final percentage must be rounded off to exactly two decimal places
Documentation Candidates are often required to produce a Conversion Certificate during document verification to prove that the formula used is official

Mandatory ID Requirements for MAH BCA CET 2026 Registration

The State CET cell has made the below two documents compulsory for CET registration-

Requirement  Key Details
Aadhaar ID Mandatory. Used for authentication during registration. All details (Name, DOB, Father's Name) must exactly match your Class 10th certificate
APAAR ID Mandatory. A unique 12-digit student ID used to link and track all your academic records digitally

Aadhaar Details Update

Ensure your Aadhaar card details are accurate and up to date, and exactly match your official school certificates. Do verify-

  • Your name 
  • Date of birth (as per your Class 10 certificate)
  • Address
  • Father’s name
  • Recent photograph
  • The mobile number linked to the Aadhaar must be current and active for communication.

APAAR ID

Every applicant is now required to have an APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry).

How to Generate APAAR ID?

If you don't have an APAAR ID, you must generate it before starting your CET application. You can generate your APAAR ID through the following methods-

1. Via DigiLocker (Recommended)

  • Log in to your DigiLocker account.
  • Search for "APAAR ID" or "Academic Bank of Credits".
  • Enter the required details (Aadhaar number, DOB, and current school/college).
  • Provide consent for Aadhaar-based authentication to generate the ID.

2. Via ABC Portal

  • Visit the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) portal https://www.abc.gov.in/.
  • Select "Student Login"
  • Sign in to your account via DigiLocker
  • Follow the prompts to generate your 12-digit ID

3. Via Your School/College

Many institutions generate APAAR IDs for their students. Contact your current high school or college office and request your APAAR ID.

#If you do not have a valid Aadhaar and APAAR ID, you won't be able to apply for MAH BCA CET 2026.

Candidates should keep the following documents ready before registering-

  • Maharashtra State Domicile certificate
  • Caste certificate (For reserved categories)
  • Caste validity certificate
  • Non-Creamy layer certificate (Valid for 2026)
  • EWS/PwD certificate (If applicable)

Note: Candidates with disabilities (PwD) must provide a Unique Disability ID (UDID) card or a mandatory disability certificate at the time of registration. 

Supporting Documents

  • School Leaving Certificate (LC/TC)
  • Birth Certificate (For DOB verification in case )
  • Conversion Certificate (Required if results are in CGPA/Grades)

MAH BCA CET 2026 Application Fees

Application fee for MAH BCA CET 2026 has been revised and is as follows-
