The MAH BCA CET 2026 syllabus will be released online at cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates will be able to check the list of subjects, units and topics to be studied for the entrance examination through the MAH BCA CET syllabus 2026. As per the official syllabus of MAH BCA CET for the previous year, the subjects to be prepared for the examination are English, Reasoning (Verbal and Arithmetic), General Knowledge & Awareness, and Computer Basics. Reading comprehension includes passages with questions based on their contents, grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of passages etc., choice of appropriate words, expressions and similar language skills, etc.

Reasoning (Verbal and Arithmetic)

This will include questions to measure how quickly and logically the candidates can think.

Will cover logical situations and questions based on facts given in the passage. This test will check the problem-solving capability of the candidate.

General Knowledge & Awareness

Questions will include current national and international affairs, culture, trade and commerce, sports, and scientific inventions and discoveries.

Computer Basics

Organization of a computer, Central Processing Unit (CPU), Structure of instructions in CPU, input/output devices, computer memory, memory organization, backup devices, System software and application software, basics of internet.

MAH BCA CET 2026 Exam Pattern

Candidates will be able to check the official MAH BCA CET exam pattern 2026 after its official release. By knowing the MAH BCA CET exam pattern beforehand, the candidates will be able to understand how the entrance examination will be conducted by the authorities. As per the official pattern, MAH BCA CET 2026 will be held online i.e., as a computer-based test of 90-minute duration. Candidates will have to attempt 100 objective multiple-choice questions. For every correct response, one mark will be allotted. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

A: 

No, Mathematics is not mandatory at the 10+2 (HSC) level to be eligible for the exam. Students from all streams, including Science, Commerce, and Arts, can apply as long as they have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam with eligibility as per the Admission Policy of the Affiliating University.

Q:   Does the "Reasoning" section of MAH BCA CET include complex mathematical problems?
A: 

The Reasoning section is divided into Verbal and Arithmetic reasoning.
