CUCET Chandigarh University Computing 2025: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

CUCET 2025 application form process for Phase 2 is now available. Candidates can now access and fill out the application form of CUCET 2025 online at cucet.cuchd.in. Offline application forms are also available at the University admission offices/authorised centres. To participate in the entrance exam and admission process, all candidates will have to fill out and submit the CUCET application form 2025 before the final date i.e., October 15, 2025. Phase 1 CUCET 2025 application form was available from October 28, 2024, to June 30, 2025.

The authorities announce the official CUCET 2025 dates online at cucet.cuchd.in. Candidates can check the CUCET dates 2025 to know when the various events related to the entrance exam and admission process will be held. To ensure that the candidates do not miss out on any important events, they are advised to keep checking the important dates. For Phase 2, the examination has commenced.

CUCET 2025 Phase 2 exam has started. The authorities are conducting CUCET 2025 as an online, remote-proctored test until October 16, 2025. All registered candidates will have to register and attempt the examination to be qualified for admission into the courses offered by the institute. For the examination, the candidates should have a laptop, a web camera and a stable internet connection. CUCET 2025 Phase 1 was held from October 28, 2024, to July 1, 2025.

While filling out the CUCET application form, the candidates will be required to pay the application fee of INR 1000. The fee can be paid in both online and offline mode. For the online payment, the candidates will have to pay through net banking/credit card/debit card. However, if the candidates wish to pay the fee offline, then they will have to report to the University admission office/authorized centres to make the payment and access the offline application form. If the candidates are unable to make the payment, then they will not be allowed to attempt the exam.

CUCET application form is available online at cucet.cuchd.in. Candidates will have to fill out and submit the application form of CUCET online before the final date to participate in the entrance exam and admission process. After clicking on the registration link on the official website, the candidates will have to provide their basic details such as their name, contact number, email ID and date of birth. A password also has to be created for future log in. Next, the application form of CUCET has to be filled out with the required personal, academic and contact details. Finally, the application fee has to be paid online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. 

Yes. Candidates will be able to access the CUCET application form offline. To purchase the offline application form of CUCET, the candidates will have to report to the University admission offices/authorized centres. The offline CUCET application form will not be available in any other venues. To access the application form, the candidates will have to pay the required fee at the venue. Important details have to be filled out in the application form of CUCET. However, the selection of examination date and time has to be done online. 

Yes. The candidates are advised to study the entire CUCET syllabus to be well-prepared for the entrance exam. Since the question paper will be prepared based on the official syllabus, the candidates are advised to prepare all of the mentioned units and topics ot have a higher chance of securing the scores required for admission into their preferred course. However, the candidates can identify a few important topics that may have higher weightage and study them carefully, since they have a higher chance of being present in the question paper.

During the preparation process, the candidates are advised to check the important topics of CUCET syllabus and prepare accordingly. By knowing the important topics, the candidates will be able to prepare well for those questions which are likely to be present in the CUCET paper. Candidates should check the previous year papers to know the topics that have higher weightage and are constantly recurring in the paper. These important topics should not be missed out and the candidates are study these topics carefully.

The marking scheme of CUCET is prepared and released online by the authorities of Chandigarh University. As per the official marking scheme, the candidates will be allotted one mark for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking. Unattempted questions will also remain unmarked. Since there is no negative marking, the candidates are advised to attempt as many questions as possible so that they have a higher chance of securing the marks required for admission into the preferred courses.

CUCET consists of 100 objective multiple-choice questions that the candidates will have to answer within the allotted duration. However, the division of questions in the CUCET paper varies as per the stream of the candidates in the 10+2th standard. However, the English section is common and compulsory for all candidates irrespective of their stream. For candidates from the non-medical stream with Chemistry, the sections in the paper will be English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 

According to the official CUCET exam pattern, the total duration of the entrance examination is 120 minutes i.e., 2 hours. Candidates will have to complete the entrance examination within the allotted duration. The authorities will not provide any extra time for the candidates. Therefore, the candidates are advised to practice and boost their time management so that they are able to complete the examination within the allotted duration of CUCET. The total number of questions to be completed within the allotted CUCET duration is 100.

Yes. It is important for the candidates to attempt and solve mock tests to prepare for CUCET. This will allow the candidates to understand their current preparation progress and accordingly work on it. Candidates can also identify their commonly made mistakes and correct it so that the same mistakes are not made during the examination. There is no specific date for the release of the CUCET 2025 admit card. Candidates will receive the CUCET admit card through email as soon as they complete their registration process. The details regarding the examination date, timings, guidelines and more will be sent by the authorities through the admit card of CUCET 2025. Since the examination will be held as an online remote-proctored test, the candidates will not required to present the CUCET admit card. 

The authorities will send the CUCET admit card to the registered candidates through email. Registered candidates will be able to check their exam date and timings through the CUCET admit card. All candidates are advised to carefully submit their valid email ID through the CUCET application form, so that they correctly receive their admit card. No other mode will be used to release the admit card of CUCET.

CUCET 2025 result will be available on the date of the examination. Candidates will be able to check their obtained scores in the entrance examination through the CUCET result 2025. To access the result of CUCET 2025, the candidates will have to log in using the required credentials. The candidates will also receive their CUCET results through email. No other mode will be used to declare the CUCET result. 

Before downloading the CUCET result, the candidates are advised to carefully check the details present in the result. In case of any mistakes, the candidates are advised to immediately contact the authorities. Candidates will be able to make corrections in their personal details, however, the authorities will not accept requests to review the allotted scores. The authorities will prepare the result carefully based on the candidate's performance in the exam. Therefore, the decision of the authorities will remain final.

First, the candidates will have to visit the official website and click on the result link. Next, the candidates will have to fill out the required credentials and click on 'Submit'. The result will be displayed on the screen and the candidates will be able to download it for future use. 

Yes. The authorities will provide different scholarships to CUCET qualified candidates of different phases i.e., Phase 1 and 2. For every marks range, the percentage of scholarship will be different. Candidates are advised to check the details regarding the scholarships carefully. If they are eligible for the scholarship, the candidates can contact the authorities to know more details. According to the official website, the number of scholarships offered in each stream is subject to a maximum of 10% of total seats offered by the university in that stream (between streams the scholarship distribution may vary).

Yes. Chandigarh University has allocated INR 170 crore to provide scholarships for the academic year 2025-26. The amount of scholarship will be based on the merit. The authorities will prepare the merit based on the score secured in CUCET (60% weightage) and 12th standard (40% weightage). From 10% upto 100% scholarships will be provided to eligible candidates who have qualified and secured a valid CUCET score.
