OJEE MCA, MCA (Lateral Entry) Cut off 2025: Check Category wise Cut off Marks

After the OJEE cutoff is released, candidates should check the cutoff released by their preferred college. If the candidates match the cutoff, they will be called for the counselling process at various institutes. Candidates will be reqiured to fill in their cjoices of courses and colleges. And after the seat allotment is done they should visit the institute of document verficiation and fee payment. Once the seat is confirmed, they must report to the college on the scheduled date.

If in case, students find any discrepancy in their OJEE results, they can get it reviewed by requesting OJEE Cell. For OJEE result rechecking, students will need to pay INR 500 as a fee. Candidates need to pay the fee in the form of a Demand Draft, drawn in favour of OJEE. It needs to be drawn from any nationalised bank, payable at Bhubaneswar and should reach the above address (within seven calendar days) as mentioned above. OJEE scorecard will only mention overall scores. However, those candidates who wish to know their sectional scores can also request the exam conducting authority for the same.

Note: OJEE Committee will only review the OJEE results, they will not re-evaluate the answer sheets of candidates.

OJEE score is determined on the basis of correct answers marked by aspirants in the OJEE exam. For each correct answer, candidates are awarded four marks. For an incorrect answer, one mark is deducted from the candidates' total score. This means that for four incorrect answers, four marks are deducted from the total score. And for four correct answers, 16 marks will be added to the score. The raw score of candidates is scaled with reference to the total number of candidates appearing in the exam. Based on the OJEE score of candidates they will be offered admission to the management institutions compared to others who have appeared in the test.

Candidates should take the following formula into consideration when calculating the OJEE score:

100 (Number of candidates in the 'group' with aggregate less than the candidates)/Total number of candidates in the 'group'

The OJEE cutoff is determined based on several factors, including the difficulty level of the exam, the total number of candidates qualified for each course, seat intake for each course and specialization, and reserved categories such as OBC, SC, ST, PWD, and so on. The OJEE Cell will release the cutoff lists after the results are announced, and the ranks will be decided based on the overall cutoff, not sectional cutoffs. The cutoff varies for each category, with lower cutoffs for candidates belonging to reserved categories. Keep in mind that clearing the OJEE cutoff does not guarantee admission to a particular institute, as final admission is granted based on OJEE scores and performance in Group Discussion.

OJEE counselling is an online mode process for final seat allotment. Candidates qualifying the exam can participate in the OJEE counselling rounds on the basis of their ranks and schedule.
