DY Patil Agriculture and Technical University offer four different specialisations under its BSc programme for students to choose from. These specialisations are diverse and deal with different fields of study. The specialisations are Agriculture Science, Data Science, Economics, and Business, and Interior Design. The course duration for Data Science, Economics, and Business, Interior design courses is three years. The course duration for Agriculture Science is four years as it’s a Hons programme. To apply for St. Xavier's College BSc course, you must have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam from any recognised board. For most BSc courses, it is necessary to have had a Science background at class 12 level. Minimum marks requirement for General category is 45%, while for reserved, it is 40%. Though the admission is merit-based, the process is stringent and the college is not easy to get into.

Pune University MSc admission is entrance based. The selection is done on the basis of OEE scores conducted by the University. Candidates need to possess a bachelor's degree from a recognised institute/ university in the relevant field to apply for UniPune MSc admission.  

Students who perform well in academics during the course are eligible for scholarships. The scholarships are provided to students of first, second and third year. Some offered scholarships are Late Shri S. A. Pai Awards, Late Shri Ratanlal Asawa Award, Vidyadhar Vinayak Buwa Paritoshik, etc.
