Politics and history have always interested me. But after my graduation, I planned to make my career in the journalism field.

During the last few months of my intermediate, I had decided to choose Arts with Political Science, History, Economics and Psychology and English as subjects for my graduation. Politics and history have always interested me. Later, I planned to make my career in the journalism field after my graduation and hence, I took admission in Amity University Lucknow campus for Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication.

The process of admission involved two steps. The first one was the written test where our writing skills were tested. Topics were given and we had to write an essay on it. Step 2 was a personal interview round and questions related to our interests in the field were asked. Now the process for admission has changed. One can fill the admission form online and upload a ‘statement of purpose’ video. It is the best private college in Lucknow with the best of the facilities and such experienced faculties.

Most of the time is spent in attending classes and participating in various academic and extracurricular events. During free hours, I like to go to the library and read. Amity has a huge library with a wonderful collection of books and journals. There is also an online library of Amity University which has e-books, articles and many other study materials available for students.

If I was given a chance, I would love to be a part of many research work project opportunities provided by the college.

Amity University Lucknow Campus has helped me become a better individual, a person who is more confident and clear about his ideas and vision in life. This place has made me more disciplined which I believe is very essential. I have become a punctual person who is now quite professional and serious when it comes to working.
