Every year numerous MBA aspirants appear for MAT, and before appearing for the exam they attempt mock tests and refer the study material of reputed coaching institutes. Along with all this, one important thing that candidates focus on is looking for question papers of previous years’ to understand what they can be asked. 

Generally, the pattern of MAT exam remains the same, and previous years’ papers are an excellent tool to understand the exam syllabus and types of questions one might come across during the exam. 

MAT 2018 September will be conducted both in online and offline modes. As of now, no changes in MAT 2018 exam pattern have been notified. The exam will be held for 2 hours wherein test-takers will be required to answer 200 questions. 

MAT 2018 September exam paper will consist of questions from the following sections:

  • Indian and Global Environment
  • Language Comprehension
  • Data Analysis and Sufficiency
  • Mathematical Skills
  • Intelligence and Critical Reasoning

Candidates can ace MAT 2018 September exam by following the below mentioned tips:

  • Go through about four to five ‘Reading Comprehension’ passages every day
  • Pay attention to all the rules of grammar
  • Understand contextual usage of words and phrases in English
  • Attempt around 20-25 Quant questions every day
  • MAT question paper generally sees Arithmetic and Algebra-based questions

Each section of MAT 2018 question paper will consist of 40 questions. Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for every correct answer and one/fourth mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Once the exam is over, candidates appearing for offline exam will not be allowed to take the question paper home. MAT 2018 September Paper-Based Test has been scheduled for September 2, and MAT 2018 September Computer-Based Test will be conducted on September 15. MAT 2018 application process is ongoing. Candidates appearing for PBT need to register before August 24, and the deadline for candidates appearing for CBT is September 8, 2018. 

MAT 2018 admit cards will be made available for PBT on August 25 while the admit card for CBT will be available online from September 11 onwards.
