IIM Raipur wraps up summer placement
IIM Raipur PGP batch of 2013-15 witnessed 100 percent placement with 75 recruiters offering internship to 118 students. The highest domestic stipend offered being Rs 1.2 lakhs. The highest international stipend offered is Rs 3 lakhs whereas the highest domestic stipend is Rs 3 lakhs.
Top organisations like Microsoft, GlaxoSmithKline, SBI General Life Insurance, ING Vysya Life Insurance, NABARD, Publicis, JWT, Draft FCB Ulka, Trident Group and many more showed their interest in recruitment process.
Top recruiters like Deloitte Haskin & Sales, EMEL Group, Mapro, Fitch Ratings, ICICI Bank, Larsen & Toubro, Hero MotoCorp, AgroTech Foods, Draft FCB Ulka, JSPL, etc. participated in the placement process.
For the first time Deloitte Haskin & Sales recruited interns for human resource consulting profile from IIM Raipur. For the first time IIM Raipur’s students bagged international internships. EMEL Group offered international internship to few students.
Maximum offers, 26 per cent, were made in Consulting sector, followed by 11 per cent placements in BFSI sector and then Retail & FMCG, Advertising and Consumer Durables along with Energy & Power 8 per cent each.
Marketing was the most chosen profile during the placement process with 37% in the batch opting for it. This was followed by Finance with 22% students in the batch going for it. About 21% students selected roles in operations, 13% in General Management and 7% in HR profiles.
