I joined the Time Institute of Bhilai to prepare for my competitive exams and the teachers there helped me a lot in cracking the exams. I gave CAT, MAT and CMAT.

From my childhood, I used to find Mathematics very tough and Science as tricky. It was hard for me to study it further after 10th. This was the real reason for me choosing commerce as my stream. I finally realized that commerce was my cup of tea. I love accountancy and solving the balance sheet. After clearing my 10th class, I chose commerce for my XI-XII.

After my higher secondary, I pursued B.Com for my graduation from St Thomas College, Bhilai. After that I did PGDCA. It is a diploma course for computers. I did this course as I feel that having ample knowledge about computer and the use of the internet is very important in today's world. Along with it, I was also preparing for my competitive exams to get admission in PGDM course. In June, I gave the final exams for PGDCA and in July came to Pune for the commencement of my PGDM course from IIEBM Indus Business School Pune, Maharashtra.

I joined the Time Institute of Bhilai to prepare for my competitive exams and the teachers there helped me a lot in cracking the exams. I gave CAT, MAT and CMAT. I wanted to get admission in IIM but my marks in CAT exams were not that good. So, I started consulting my relatives for some advice and suggestions regarding colleges. My brother suggested me to take admission in IIEBM Indus Business Scholl as he was an alumnus of this college. He was placed in an IT firm in Qatar. I was eager to get admission in this college as it was an army college that provides you with great values and a bright future.

In IIEBM, my day starts at 6:30 am. I wake up, take bath and get ready for the college. We have to reach college before 8:00 am and if we are late by a minute we are not allowed to enter the college. Initially, the college authorities are lenient towards the students because they know it will take time to develop these habits. But after that one has to follow all the rules strictly. We have our breakfast from 8-8:30 am. After that, we move for prayer and attendance. At 9 am our first lecture starts and end in one and a half hour then we have fruit break for 15 minutes. At 1 pm we have our lunch break for 45 minutes. We have a total of 6 lectures in a day.

There is no activity which IIEBM doesn't offer to its students. The college believes in the motto Sarv Dharm Sambhav which means that we believe in all dharma. So, we celebrate all the festivals and enjoy all the events. We have our college fest named Eventia.

Apart from it, the college provides one summer and one winter internship. The summer internship is for 3 months and the winter is for 15 days

Here is the honest take: MERI is pretty old-school when it comes to showing up. They stick to a 75% attendance rule, and they aren’t just bluffing—it’s actually tied to your internal marks and, more importantly, your eligibility to sit for placements. Think of it less like a flexible college degree
