I have learnt a lot from field visits: Sachindra Vikram Singh
My name is Sachindra Vikram Singh. I am from Lucknow. My family is not unique. It is just like typical Indian families, and keeping up with the above delineation, my folks were exceptionally keen on making the decision of the right profession for me. So, after completing my schooling, I, along with my family, made the decision to move to University of Allahabad for my further education. I pursued my graduation in the subjects Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics.
My life, from the beginning, was a lot of fun as I grew up living with friends and family around me. That was the best time of my life and I made many good friends during that time. However, I realized the true essence of life at the college level.
I gained many skills during my education, such as a better way of thinking. I understood morality and responsibilities. I identified the problems and constraints which become obstructions in any human life, and tried to find sophisticated tools and pragmatic ways to handle those problems. I learned to learn. And hence, after considering so many fundamental points, I decided to become a management student, with the help of which I could become more stable in the social, economic, and financial contexts because as we need the balance of the three to lead a good life. Philosophically too, humans are, more or less, social animals who have certain needs and wants related to life and they must find means to fulfill them.
In every one’s life, there is a turning phase when you want to work for your goals and aspirations on pragmatic grounds. To accomplish that, I appeared for competitive examinations such as CAT/XAT/IIFT Exam/SNAP and applied to many colleges. After the exams results were declared, I chose the best one among my options and came to Taxila Business School, Jaipur with the aspiration of becoming rich in terms of education, not money. In my opinion, if you are well educated, then only can you make your money work for you.
The fundamental saying here in the college is to “educate us instead of giving theoretical classes”. Being in the second year of PGDM, I can flaunt the extensive knowledge I have gained, due to the field visits to reputed associations and visitor addresses led by renowned industrialists.
I, alongside my education, have planned and organised fests. I was likewise offered a vocation opportunity from an organization. I got the chance to create my own startup. Other than that, I and my batchmates had numerous offers for planning events. I can say that no other undergrad will get such an introduction to the field this soon. They don't overburden us here; rather, they let us work and learn in our own good time. The administration concentrates more on the learning that we do. The organisation moulds you and aids in changing you into a groomed individual.
