Recruiting Companies in IIM Bodh Gaya

The average consolidated stipend during summer placements in IIM BG has seen an increase of 73 per cent, and it is now around INR 71,000.

IIM Bodh Gaya, also known as "The Enlightening IIM," is one of the most sought-after locations by major companies for recruitment. This is primarily attributable to the impressive talent pool that can be found on the campus. The placement season was consistently fruitful, and a large number of organisations visited the campus as mass recruiters.

Top Recruiting Companies

As is customary, most of the companies come from the Consulting domain. This is due to the fact that India is experiencing rapid growth in the service sector industry, and consulting is one of the domains that attract talented graduates from top business schools. In addition to that, FMCG and Marketing companies are also welcoming graduates from IIM Bodh Gaya with open arms. Companies such as Infosys, Sodexo, and CRISIL are just a few examples of businesses in the Consulting Industry that provide competitive compensation packages. In addition to these companies, some of the most prominent recruiters in the field of marketing include SBI life insurance and others.

The number of recruiters who visit the campus experiences only a marginal fluctuation from year to year; however, recently, due to some extraordinary circumstances, the numbers have been affected as accordingly. IIM BG provided its talent to 208 different recruiters during COVID-19 as a direct result of "The Great Resignation."

Pay Packages at IIM Bodh Gaya

IIM BG clocked the highest package of INR 30.5 LPA last year, and its average salary package, which was INR 13 LPA is one of the highest when compared to the compensation at other IIMs. Even the average fixed annual pay was somewhere around INR 11 LPA, making it one of the highest among all of the baby IIMs and a few of the new IIMs.

For summer placements, this year, we have seen a significant increase in the stipend that is offered by the company, with the most generous stipend standing at approximately INR 2 lakhs at present. The average consolidated stipend has seen an increase of 73 per cent, and it is now around INR 71,000.

This year, there were approximately 184 students in the batch that participated in final placements. The remaining students either chose to participate in final placements off-campus or are currently on sabbatical. These 184 students have secured more than 200 job offers from a wide range of businesses. Out of these, Marketing was the one that was requested the most by the batch, and this has been the pattern since the beginning of IIM Bodh Gaya.
