SPJIMR MBA Admission Criteria 2025: SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai, is one of the premium and top B Schools in India which offer the PGDM, MBA course. SP Jain MBA Eligibility Criteria

The following is the SP Jain MBA eligibility criteria for the MBA/PGDM course:

  • Student should have scored 50% aggregate in graduation from a recognized university.
  • The student must hold a minimum of five years of work experience.
  • The student should have a valid CAT or GMAT score.

SPJIMR MBA Admission Through CAT 2025

Candidates seeking admission to the SP Jain Institute of Management and Research through CAT 2025 scores should apply at the official SPJIMR website in addition to CAT 2025 registration. Follow the steps mentioned below to know the SPJIMR MBA admission process through CAT:

Step 1: Register and Apply at the SPJIMR Website

Candidates interested in the PGDM course at SPJIMR must register on the official website by filling out an online application form at www.spjimr.org. Candidates need to complete the SPJIMR application process by paying the application fee online using a credit card, debit card, internet banking, etc. Check the table below to know the course-wise SPJIMR application fee:

Step 2: Appear for the CAT Exam

Students should take the CAT 2025 exam for admission to the SPJIMR MBA programme. They should have a good academic record and valid work experience to be considered for admission. CAT 2025 was conducted on November 30, 2025. 

Step 3: SPJIMR Admission Criteria

The SPJIMR admission criteria is based on CAT cutoff, performance in Personal Interview and work experience. The final selection at SPJIMR is based on the student's profile, including academic background and achievements, extracurricular activities and PI performance. Students who appear for the exam have to meet the SPJIMR CAT cut off to be eligible for further selection rounds. 

Step 4: Appear for GD/PI/WAT rounds

Students who take the CAT exam and match the CAT 2025 cutoff for SPJIMR have to appear for the next selection rounds, i.e. Group Discussion, Personal Interview and Written Ability Test. The overall performance in these rounds and CAT will be considered for final admissions.

Step 5: Document Verifying and Fee Payment

Once the selection rounds are complete and the student is selected, he/she need to visit the institute to get the documents verified. Once the documents are verified, aspirants need to pay the SPJIMR admission fee to secure the seat.

Q:   What is the difference between qualifying CAT cut off and final CAT cut off?
A:
Qualifying CAT cut off percentiles of an IIM is the minimum percentile (sectional as well as overall) required by candidates to be eligible for the Written Ability Test (What) and Personal Interview PI round. These are only eligibility score and not the score for selection. The final CAT cut off percentiles are the scores on the basis of which a candidate is actually selected for the What-PI round. The qualifying CAT cut offs are released publically before the CAT exam and result as a part of selection criteria for the MBA/PGP batch of that year. The qualifying cut offs for CAT are release category wise - General, NC/OBC. General-EWS, SC/ST, PwD. The qualifying cut offs percentiles of General category candidate is higher than then rest. The final CAT cut offs are not released publically. The cut offs are estimate on the basis of candidate's selection for What-PI. The final CAT cut offs for General category candidate is also higher than then rest.
Q:   What is the CAT cut off for IIM Lucknow?
A:
The CAT cut offs for IIM Lucknow is usually around 97-99 percentile. The two courses - PGP Agri-Business Management (ABM) and PGP Sustainable Management (some) are extremely popular among MBA aspirants who wish to make a career in these areas. The institute also offers PGP programme. The qualifying CAT cut off for IIM Lucknow's Written Ability test (What) and Personal Interview PI is 90 percentile for General category students, whereas for SC candidates, it is 70 percentile. A:

P Jain (SPJIMR) admission 2024 are open. Admission to various courses is based on merit and the scores of entrance exams. The accepted entrance exams are XAT,  CAT,  NMAT, and others. It is mandatory for students to qualify national entrance exam for the admisison at PGDM course. Candidates willing to get admission to PGDM course can appline online on the official website.

  • Profile-Based Call: The institute offers profile-based calls for the aspirants before the announcement of CAT results. If the candidate holds a strong academic record, good work experience and leadership benchmark, the chances of getting a profile-based call from SPJIMR are high. A:

The CAT cut offs for IIM Bangalore hovers between 97-100 percentile. The qualifying CAT cut off required for being eligible for IIM Bangalore's Written Ability test (What) and Personal Interview PI is 85 percentile for General category students, whereas for SC candidates, it is 70 percentile.
