The diverse lessons learned both inside the classroom and outside, helped me a lot: Arpit Bharati

I believe that applying management concepts in the real world is quite different from just understanding and learning them and I was fortunate enough to have gained this real-time experience beforehand at JK Business School through their case-study approach and interactive class sessions. The diverse lessons learned inside the classroom and outside, helped me a lot during the placement interview. These further strengthened my belief in myself and resulted in me doing exceptionally well in my placement interview.

In my time here, I was mentored by the alumni of reputed B-Schools like the IIMs and Columbia Business School. I also got the opportunity to interact with the various industry leaders who would often come to our campus for guest lectures. These interactions enabled me to develop a 360-degree view of the corporate world.

The Capstone Simulation Project was a major contributing factor in learning to work in a collaborative environment. It brought together students pursuing different Majors in the college and offered a common platform to discuss and examine opportunities and challenges to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-life application. The Capstone Simulation project taught me to look for out-of-the-box solutions.

The IIMBx program, a three-month online certificate course in association with IIM Bangalore, proved to be a great learning opportunity for me. Led by the faculty team at IIM Bangalore, it definitely helped me to get the edge in management learning that I was looking for.

The Pre-Placement Program at JKBS was also a boon to have. Through multiple stages of resume assessment, group discussion, aptitude test, psychometric test, subject knowledge test, and interviews with alumni, faculty members, professional experts, I could develop the ability to understand what the industry is looking for and was able to present myself as an industry-ready contender.

I owe this success to my faculty members, who very patiently attended to all my intellectual inquiries and guided me whenever I needed it.
