Know what you will be tested on

It is always a good practice to refer to the past years’ questions at the time of exam preparation. This will give you a fair understanding of what you can expect in the examination. Generally, the exam pattern of all the management entrance exams is similar. It is advisable to practice the mock tests of CAT as all the other exams mostly follow the same exam pattern.

Focus on accuracy rather than the number of questions

Some CAT aspirants make the mistake of attempting more number of questions rather than focusing on accuracy. Candidates must note that attempting more number of questions, but providing incorrect answers will not help them fetch marks instead, it is a wise decision to attempt less questions but provide correct answers for the same.

Allot time for each section/question

Time management is extremely crucial when appearing for exams. Candidates must ensure that they allot specific time per question and per section. Always remember that it is better to move to the next question rather than staying stuck on one. Staying on one question will only waste time, and you might miss out on questions, the answer to which you might know.

Revise concepts, formulas & current issues

All your concepts and formulas must be clear before appearing for the exam. Make sure that you revise the same so that it stays fresh in your mind. Also, go through the current issues as questions from the general knowledge section constitute a few management exams.

Keeping in mind the above mentioned points will certainly help you excel in management entrance exams.
