Diverse culture, growth opportunities, ideal for postgrad focused students and fresher.
Placements: As of now, November 24, nearly 60-70% of students are placed. The highest as of now is 11 LPA, and the lowest is 9 LPA. Infosys, Capgemini, Uniqlo, TVS, Go Digit, Panasonic, Smart Cube, Mahindra Finance, ABFRL. 100% of students got a summer internship in my batch. Management trainee, Retail operations, Supply chain trainee.
Infrastructure: The college has all the necessary infra for students as well as faculty and staff. The entire campus and hostel are Wi-Fi enabled, and the college also tries to incorporate technology and sustainable practices on and off campus like smart screens, kiosks, biogas plants, and waste management systems, all of them being maintained regularly. The cleanliness has to be appreciated, especially at hostels; everyday cleaning is done along with laundry. Special requests are always taken into consideration without any additional charges. The food quality is very good compared to the nearby institutes. Activities like sports and cultural events are done. They provide all the necessary emergency services like in-campus doctor and clinic facilities as well as emergency ambulance services.
Faculty: The institute tries to provide the best in class education with regard to teaching quality. The curriculum is updated regularly considering the industry trends, especially the feedback system integrated into the curriculum is good. Feedback from alumni is done regularly along with feedback from students with work ex. This helps to understand and train, keeping the current market trends and employee expectations in mind.
Other: I am pursuing my PGDM in retail management as I have a special interest in retail businesses and prior experiences at firms related to the retail sector. As mentioned previously, regular updates and feedback along with something called on-the-job training and regular industrial visits, these are the key highlights of the specific retail management course. The best feature is the cultural diversity that the campus provides; we have students from Kerala to Jammu, which gives students better exposure and experience. With regards to sports and cultural events which are done sufficient enough for a post-graduation institution. The introduction of research or publishing a research paper in the curriculum is something where improvement can be done. Also, the time restrictions permitted in the institution, with regards to movement inside and outside the campus, can be revised.

One of the best B-schools in North India.
Placements: The placements here at BIMTECH are really good. While I'm still in my first year, our super seniors of the Retail Management programme have had 100% placement and our seniors as well are getting good placements. The average package is around 10 Lacs and the median also stands at around the same point.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good in BIMTECH. The academic block has classrooms with smart boards and an environment conducive to learning. The library has a huge resource of books for its students with great ambiance to learn. The campus also has three hostels in it, all with great facilities. Out and out, BIMTECH has great infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty at BIMTECH is very well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful too. The curriculum as well is up-to-date and relevant to the field of study. This combination of great faculty, along with a very well-structured curriculum, makes learning so good here.

It is a place for overall growth while studying.
Placements: It is a good college with an ample number of exposure opportunities. They focus more on experiential learning rather than just bookish knowledge. Retail management course helps in creating an edge over others as it provides us with life experiences with different companies.
Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Hostels are supported by LAN. The variety of food is awesome. There are facilities available such as gym, in-house barber, tuck shop, cafeteria, health centre, solar enabled geyser system in hostels, and centrally air-conditioned classrooms.
Faculty: The course curriculum is designed in such a way that it is not monotonous. Live projects, group assignments, presentations, viva-voce, these all are part of BIMTECH assessment which helps a student to grow not just by studying but how to manage things on time and how to prioritise them.

Review of BIMTECH- Birla Institute of Management Technology.
Placements: Almost 94-100% of students in our course got placed. The highest salary package offered ranges between 9-10 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Companies like Landmark Group, Infosys, Titan, Bata, etc., visit our campus for placements. About 60% of students get an internship. Manager role is offered to the students. Manager for retail management, either B2B or B2C jobs, are offered. For B2C store manager or a sales, manager post is offered.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi facility for students. All classrooms are air-conditioned, and smart classrooms are also available. The library is well-equipped. All types of festivals are conducted here. The auditorium is not available. All programs are conducted in an activity plaza. The hostel is good. All facilities are available in the hostel like laundry. Only vegetarian food is served for the students.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well educated and qualified. They will be with us for any problems. They have great knowledge of the industry. The course curriculum is relevant in the current world. The retail industry is growing day by day. This course will help to gain more skills to sustain in the industry.

BIMTECH is a very good college.
Placements: Almost all students are placed in the institute. The highest package is 1200000 the lowest is 600000 average is 700000. Accenture, ABFRL and many other top companies. Students are mostly placed in retail positions of the company. Every student gets an internship from the college.
Infrastructure: Good facilities in the college like library, AC classrooms, and good variety of books in the library of the college. Food is very good but only vegetarian. There many sports facilities in the college and even in the hostel. The rooms in the hostel are good.
Faculty: Good faculty and visiting faculty. The teaching is very good and good curriculum that provides the students with excellent opportunities to the students. There are even exchange facilities on the campus that is provided to the students that provide them opportunities to learn in other countries.

IFIM, Bangalore is a very good option for PGDM. Especially the finance program. The curriculum is also approved by CFA Institute, USA. It is mentioned as ranked 26 in India and is any way approved/accredited by AICTE, NBA, SAQs, etc. So, it seems great. Bangalore is a better place to study as compar

You have a fair chance of getting offer, provided you do well in WAT/PI. BIMTECH was pioneer in launching Retail Course in India and enjoys a good reputation among recruiters.

The compensation for PGDM in Retail management from BIMTECH-Greater Noida is as follows:
Highest Package: 7.5 LPA (domestic) and 20 LPA (international)
Average Package: 7.32 LPA
Lowest Package: 5 LPA
However, this year the placement figures got a little affected due to demonetization.

You have good chance looking at your CMAT score. But, you need to perform above average in WAT/PI process too.

No special preparation is needed. The process is more or less similar for all leading institutions. It is basically to check your communication skill , general awareness and your potential for a manager.

BIMTECH-Noida is a better option among the two. BIMTECH is ranked above Christ. BIMTECH has higher average package in placements. Also, Delhi/NCR location is an advantage for students for exposure to corporate world.
