ICSI conducts the CSEET mock test, a week before the exam date. Only registered candidates get the link to appear for mock test on their registered email ID. While taking the mock test, candidates must follow the prescribed instructions to become familiar with the actual exam-day environment. CSEET exam is conducted in offline mode.

CSEET exam will be of 3 hours per subject (except 2 hours for Business Laws and Management).
The exam will be in English medium.
The paper will be of 100 marks per subject.
The question paper will have subjective and OMR based questions.

Q: How many attempts are there in CSEET?

There are no prescribed number of attempts for CSEET. Candidates can appear for the CSEET exam in multiple attempts until qualified. The validity of the CSEET scorecard is one year. ICSI conducts CSEET examination three times in a year, i.e., February, June and October. Candidates can choose to appear for any of the three sessions. However, candidates must stay updated with the cut off dates of CSEET examination.

CSEET Mock Test: Things to Remember

Before taking CSEET mock test, students must read below to keep certain things in mind:

CSEET mock test helps candidates become familiar with the CSEET exam pattern, mode of examination and level of difficulty.
Once mock test starts, the screen will display one question at a time.
Give required time to each question.
If you do not know the answer to a question, skip it and do not waste time.
Review your performance after every mock test to know your weak and strong areas.
For subjective questions, write the answer carefully in proper flow to avoid mark deduction.
Answer as many questions as possible in OMR based paper, as there is no negative marking.

Q: What is the total score in CSEET?

CSEET total marks are 400 marks. The question is divided into four sections of 100 marks each:

Candidates must note that the same credentials will not be applicable for the actual CSEET exam scheduled to be held from June 01 to June 04. The login credentials for the exam will be sent separately to the candidates. CSEET 2026 mock test for June session will be released tentatively in last week of May.

Q: When will be the CSEET mock test conducted?

CSEET mock test is released one week prior to the date of examination. Candidates appearing for the CSEET exam through mobile will not have actual exam experience that is intended to be provided to the candidates. Candidates accessing the CSEET mock test through mobile will not have real exam day experience, scroll multiple times to read the question paper, and becomes difficult to read. Hence, for better experience and to know the compatibility of the desktop or laptop candidates must not take the CSEET mock test through mobile.

General Instructions to Solve CSEET Mock Test

ICSI has laid down some general instructions that a candidate must follow. Check below to know about them in detail:

Appear for exam/mock test from supported browsers to avoid any technical problems.
Clock will be displayed on the top right corner of the computer screen. When the timer reaches zero the test will be automatically submitted.
Submit tab will appear after the completion of exam duration.
Question Palette displayed on the bottom left side of the screen will show the status of each question using coloured Symbols.
To move to another question student must click on the question number displayed on the right side of the screen.
To change a chosen answer, click on the button of another option.
Test takers must make sure that the pop-up blocker is turned off.
Students are advised to clear the cache before the start of the test.
Preferred screen resolution: 1024x768 and above
Student must have a suitable internet connection: minimum speed of 512 Kbps
Test takers are advised not to give mock tests on mobile phones/tabs
