CA candidates need to carry two copies of CA admit card (A4 size paper/colour printout), one photo ID (original), blue or black ballpoint pen and calculator to the examination centre. Candidates can carry Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID card, passport or driving license as the mandatory document for identification. They are also required to carry passport size photos to affix on the CA admit card. Entry without these documents will not be allowed.

No, there is no provision to change their exam centres after the CA admit card has been issued. The option to change test city is given only the form correction process which is held a day after the registrations close. the form correction window is opened for 3-4 days for making changes in the already submitted form. Afterwards, you cannot change the test city. You will have to take the test in the city mentioned on your admit card. Thus, it is important that you make careful selection of the test cities in the CA exam form. Always select your hometown or city of current residence as the first preference so that you are allotted a test centre in that city only.

Candidates appearing for ICAI CA Foundation exam for upcoming session must follow below guidelines:
- Candidates are advised to reach the examination centre at least one hour before the exam time.
- Students can write their answers in either Hindi or English, as selected in the application form.
- There will be an advance reading time of 15 minutes for Paper 1 and Paper 2 from 1:45 pm to 2 pm.
- No advance reading time is provided for Paper 3 and Paper 4.
- Late entry to exam hall is permitted for upto 15 minutes for Paper 1, 2, 3 and 4.
- No early exit is provided. Candidates can leave the centre only after the exam time concludes.

The CA Final exam includes papers such as Corporate & Economic Laws Part I: Corporate Law, Economic Laws, Strategic Cost Management and Performance Evaluation, Direct Tax Laws & International Taxation, Goods and Services Tax, Direct Tax Laws & International Taxation, etc. which are tough to crack. The pass percentage of CA Final exams is low as low as 25 per cent in a particular session and students need multiple attempts to clear this level. There is no negative marking in Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the CA Foundation course as they are subjective papers. In Paper3 and Paper 4, which have objective type questions, there is negative marking of 1/4th mark for incorrect attempt. Total marks per paper is 100. Every question carries 1 mark. Thus, students must mark answers carefully in Paper 3 and 4, to avoid negative marking. They must not do guess work.
