CSEET Result Jan 2026  will be announced tentatively on January 20 at icsi.edu. Students who have appeared for exam will be able to download the CSEET 2026 scorecard online by entering the application number and date of birth. ICSI conducted CSEET 2026 exam in remote proctored mode across India. It was the last CSEET examination administered in online mode.

CSEET June 2026 registrations has commenced at smash.icsi.edu. Candidates can apply for CSEET 2026 online till February 15, 2026. ICSI has announced revised CSEET exam pattern and syllabus. Restructured CSEET will be applicable from June 2026 session. As per the revised pattern, the exam will be held in three sessions- February, June and October. CSEET exam will now be held in offline mode. ICSI has also revised the CSEET registration fee. Candidates will now be required to pay CSEET registration fee of INR 7500 and INR 1500 as CSEET enrollment fee.

The number of students registered or appeared for the CSEET exam is not notified by ICSI. Soon after the declaration of results, ICSI announces the CSEET pass percentage which shows the percentage of students who have cleared the CSEET exam.

Yes, CS Executive Entrance Test will now be held on offline mode. ICSI will conduct the last examination in remote proctored mode on January 10, 2026. What is CSEET?

CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) is the qualifying entrance test for registration to the CS Executive programme. Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) conducts CSEET for students seeking admission to Company Secretaryship Course. CSEET exam test the aptitude for the Company Secretary profession. Students who have passed 12th (in any stream) will be eligible to appear for CSEET. To be a part of Company Secretary course, every student must go through the CSEET exam.

Q:   How many times can I give CSEET exam in a year?
A: 

CS Executive Entrance Test CSEET is conducted four times in a year- January, May, July, and November. There is no limit to appear for CSEET exam in a year. Candidates will have to register separately for the session they wish to appear for. Therefore, students can appear for the four sessions in a year subject to registration and payment for the CSEET application fee for each attempt.

Q:   What is the difference between CSEET old and new syllabus?

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India introduced the revised syllabus for CSEET. Here are the key difference between the old and new syllabus of CSEET: 1. Subjects: The number of subjects has been increased in CSEET. The new subject included in CSEET syllabus is Quantitative Aptitude in part 4. 2. Elimination of Viva Voce: Viva Voce section will now stand cancelled. Earlier the CSEET included of Presentation and Viva Voce section. 3. Entry route: The new syllabus has made the exclusive mode of entry through CSEET to CS course. The marks are distributed equally among each section of CSEET. Q:   What is the process after CSEET exam?

After appearing for the CSEET exam, the authorities will declare the CSEET results. Candidates meeting the qualifying criteria shall be declared pass. Candidates who will clear the CSEET exam will be able to register for the CS Executive examination for the upcoming session examination. The registrations for CS Executive examination is open throughout the year. Whereas, if the candidate does not clear the CSEET exam he/she can register again for the next session examination. Candidates must stay updated with the cutoff dates to appear for the CSEET exam.
Q:   When can I apply for CS Executive Programme examination?

Candidates who have qualified the CSEET exam will be able to apply for the CS Executive exam. CSEET January 2026 results will be announced soon after exam. Candidates who are declared 'pass' will be able to register for the CS Executive exam (single group).

During the CSEET exam, candidates should use only the chat box to contact the online invigilator. The use of mobile phones and any other electronic items during the test is strictly not allowed. If found, the candidate will be disqualified from the exam.

CSEET mock test is conducted to familiarise candidates to the actual test environment and also validate the compatibility of the software and hardware. If the candidate encounters any technical issue during the mock test they must contact the technical support notified on the email address sent to all the candidates. Q:   Will I receive the physical copy of CSEET scorecard?
A: 

Candidates will not be issued any physical copy of the CSEET scorecard. On declaration of CSEET results candidates must login at the official website of ICSI ICET- (icsi (dot) edu) and download and take the print of the ICSI CSEET scorecard immediately. Candidates must check for the following details that will be mentioned on the ICSI CSEET scorecard: 1. Admission number 2. Name of the candidate 3. Result date 4. Roll number 5. Subject-wise scores 6. Result- pass/fail 7. Validity 8. Important instruction 9. Maximum score

ICSI will declare the CSEET result 10 days after exam is conducted. Candidates can download the scorecard from the official website of ICSI. Candidates must enter the login credentials to view the scorecard.

Q:   How will the live proctors control the online CSEET exam?
A: 

Live proctors will watch the CSEET exam online. The process will be coducted as:

  1. Proctors will be able to chat with the exam taker in an active chat session.
  2. Proctors can also communicate with the test takers through a microphone or camera.
  3. During the exam, the activities of the candidate and screen will be captured frequently.
  4. Each session is finished either by the test taker, automatically after the end of the allotted time, or by the proctor. All audio, video, text messages and recorded events are saved in the system and are attached to the session protocol.
  5. At the end of the exam, the proctor will leave a remark (positive or negative) about the candidate. If there are no violations during the exam, then the proctor will mark the candidate positive.

CSEET January 2026 exam will be held in remote proctored mode. The exam will be held on January 10, 2026. On the day of the examination, candidates should keep with them the following documents handy for identity verification by the Remote Proctors for securing appearance in the CSEET exam, failing which candidates shall not be allowed to take the exam. Candidates will not be allowed to keep any other document with them other than CSEET 2025 admit card and original identity card.

  1. Admit Card; and
  2. Any one of the original photo identity card issued by the Government departments viz. Passport, Driving Licence, PAN Card, UID Aadhaar Card, Voter Card 
Q:   How to get CSEET admit card?
A: 

To download ICSI CSEET admit card, students must go to official link and enter ICSI login details: Application number and date of birth to download the E-admit card for CSEET. Applicants must note that ICSI will not provide CSEET admit card in offline mode. Candidates can only download admit card online

To register for CSEET exam, candidates must keep below documents/information ready before filling the application form.

  1. Photograph of the candidate (between 20kb to 50kb. )

Q:   If I have not cleared class 12th examination, can I apply for CSEET?

If a candidate has not cleared class 12th exmaination, he/she will not be able to apply for CSEET exam. As per ICSI CSEET exam criteria, candidates must be appearing or passed in class 12th examination or equivalent to apply for exam. Candidates will be required to submit class 12th marksheet while applying for CS Executive examination.

The number of students registered or appeared for the CSEET exam is not notified by ICSI. Soon after the declaration of results, ICSI announces the CSEET pass percentage which shows the percentage of students who have cleared the CSEET exam.
