There are no prescribed number of attempts for CSEET. Candidates can appear for the CSEET exam in multiple attempts until qualified. The validity of the CSEET scorecard is one year. ICSI conducts CSEET examination four times in ayear i.e, January, May, July and November. Candidates can choose to appear for any of the four sessions. However, candidates must stay updated with the cut off dates of CSEET examination.

CSEET mock test is released one week prior to the date of examination. Candidates who have registered for the exam will be sent the link for CSEET mock test on their registered email ID or phone number via SMS. CSEET January 2026 mock test will be held on in first week of January. Candidates are notified about the mock test soon after the release of notification. Candidates must login with the credentials sent on their registered email ID or phone number to appear for the CSEET mock test. CSEET Mock Test January 2026: General Instructions
- CSEET will be conducted for a duration of 120 minutes.
- Screen will display one question at a time.
- Clock will be displayed on the top right corner of the computer screen. When the timer reaches zero the test will be automatically submitted.
- Submit tab will appear after the completion of 60 minutes of examination. The tab will appear on the last 120th question.
- Question Palette displayed on the bottom left side of the screen will show the status of each question using coloured Symbols.
- To move to another question student must click on the question number displayed on the right side of the screen.
- To change a chosen answer, click on the button of another option.
- Candidates must appear for exam/mock test from supported browsers to avoid any technical problems
- Test takers must make sure that the pop-up blocker is turned off.
- Students are advised to clear the cache before the start of the test.
- Preferred screen resolution: 1024x768 and above
- Student must have a suitable internet connection: minimum speed of 512 Kbps
- Test takers are advised not to give mock tests on mobile phones/tabs

There will be generic login ID and password for the students who have registered for the CSEET exam. Students will be able to login as per their batch timing. Authorities will send the CSEET mock test link and login credentials on the registered email ID or phone number via SMS. Candidates must click on the link provided as per the batch timing. Candidates must note that the same credentials will not be applicable for the actual CSEET exam scheduled to be held from June 01 to June 04. CSEET 2026 mock tests are accessible through mobiles, however, candidates are advised to take the mock test through desktop/laptop to check the compatibility of the hardware. Candidates will not be permitted to appear for the CSEET exam through mobile on the day of examination. Candidates appearing for the CSEET exam through mobile will not have actual exam experience that is intended to be provided to the candidates. ICSI conducts the CSEET examination in online mode- remote proctored mode. In this mode of examination, candidates can appear for exam from the place of their comfort. In this mode of examination, candidates must follow the exam day guidelines to appear for the remote proctored mode examination. Candidates failing to meet criteria, will not be considered for further registrations.
ICSI conduct CSEET examination for two hours (120 minutes). Candidates have to attempt 200 Multiple Choice Questions in given time. Candidates will not be given extra time under any condition. The question paper will be submitted once the duration is over. ICSI conducts the CSEET exam in remote proctored mode.
Test taker can use their phone/mobile to contact the ICSI helpdesk for any issues and get help with login. Once the candidate is logged in and the test process begins the student cannot use their phones/mobiles.
During the CSEET exam, candidates should use only the chat box to contact the online invigilator. The use of mobile phones and any other electronic items during the test is strictly not allowed. If found, the candidate will be disqualified from the exam.
