CBSE Class 12 Result 2021 is likely to be released by August 15 by CBSE. Schools will be given one month of time to submit the internal marks to the board.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the evaluation criteria to calculate CBSE 12th Result 2021 by June 17. The result is expected to be announced by August 15. Officials have confirmed that the students would be awarded marks and that the evaluation criteria would be based on the previous performance of students. The same, in detail, would also be published on the official website cbse.gov.in.
Board officials have dismissed the reports of 'possible grades' for students of Class 12. CBSE states that students would be awarded marks, like the students in the batch before them and after them. As to how the marks would be calculated, the panel has been studying the various recommendations and the final criteria will be released on June 17.
The 12 member panel set up on June 4 has reportedly considered students' performance in Class 10 and Class 11 as well as various internal assessments. Schools would be given about a month to compute and submit the marks to CBSE. Thereafter, CBSE is likely to release the CBSE 12th Result 2021 by August 15.
CBSE 12th Result 2021: Points on Evaluation Criteria
- Students to be awarded marks and not grades
- Marks to be awarded to ensure parity between different batches of students
- Special mention in the mark-sheet for students who plan to study abroad
- Teacher's and schools' assessment to play a key role in the evaluation of the student's performance.
- Marks scored by students in practical exams conducted in February/March as well as internal assessment to be considered in the final result computation.
- Students who did not perform well in pre-boards or internal assessment will get an opportunity to improve their score in one subject of choice by appearing in CBSE Compartment Exams, which will be conducted when the situation is favourable
- The evaluation policy would also make a provision for students to appear for improvement or board exams which would be conducted by CBSE at a later date, in case students are not satisfied with their result
Over 14,000 schools will be involved in this evaluation process and calculate results for CBSE Class 12 students. The Board will release the evaluation criteria tomorrow and then will publish FAQs on the official website.
