Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu has decided to form a committee to conduct the TN 12th exams 2021 after the pandemic. The committee will also be deciding on the modalities to award marks to TN 10th students.
The Board had cancelled the Class 10th exams and postponed the Class 12th exams in the state due to the surge in coronavirus cases.
Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, State Education Minister said that department has convened a meeting to decide on many issues including conducting exams and awarding marks. He further said that the department is planning to create a think tank with parents, schools and officials for discussing key issues.
Due to lockdown in the state, necessary permission will be taken to conduct the meeting,” he further informed.
The TN 10th, 12th exams were scheduled between May 5 and June 25 but had to be cancelled/postponed. The new TN 12th time table 2021 will be released in June after assessing the situation. For better preparation of the exams, students must download the TN 12th question papers of previous years and solve them. Tis will make them familiar with the exam pattern, marking scheme, duration of the exam and the types of questions that can be asked.
