The official statement released by DU in this regard reads, “DSSEED will provide incubation facilities for students and entrepreneurs, which will also be extremely useful in furthering the research interests of college teachers who are not able to take ideas forward for lack of necessary infrastructure and the right ecosystem in their place of work.”
Faculties coming from multiple backgrounds such as Sciences (Biological, Chemical, Physical, Mathematical Sciences and Informatics), Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce and Economics, Finance and Management will be a part of DSSEED.
The official statement laid down by the Delhi University revealed the importance of the involvement of multidisciplinary faculties as it will enable addressing “immediate and ever-evolving future challenges in an integrated fashion and contribute to national development”.
