CEETA PG 2025: Anna University will conduct the Common Engineering Entrance Test for admission to Postgraduate (CEETA PG) 2025 on March 23, 2025. As per the schedule released, the CEETA PG 2025 exam will be conducted from 10 AM to 12 noon. Candidates aspiring for admission to postgraduate engineering, technology, and architecture programs should take note of important details regarding the CEETA PG exam pattern.

The marking scheme for the CEETA PG entrance test is as follows -
Marks will not be deducted for the questions answered.
Part I: Multiple shading will be considered as wrong answer and 1/3 mark will be reduced.
Part II: All the correct answers up to 20 will be awarded marks and all the wrong answers shall be considered for awarding negative marks. Multiple shading will be considered as a wrong answer and a 1/3 mark will be reduced.
Part III: Multiple shading will be considered as wrong answer and a 1/3 mark will be reduced.
The CEETA PG exam question paper is divided into three parts: I, II, and III comprising questions from Engineering Mathematics, Basic Engineering and Sciences, and respective discipline-based. The section-wise distribution of questions is as follows -
- Section I (Engineering Mathematics) carries a total of 20 questions
- Section II (Basic Engineering and Sciences) carries a total of 20 questions, and
- Section III (Subject-related questions) carries a total of 60 questions.
Each question carries one mark, with a negative marking of 1/4 for every incorrect response.

The CEETA PG question paper comprises of a total of 115 objective-based questions, divided into three sections. Part I and Part II are common for all papers, whereas, Part-III section will carry subject-related questions. For each correct answer, one mark will be awarded. On the other hand, for an incorrect answer, a negative marking of 1/4 is deducted. However, there is no negative marking for the answers not attempted. Candidates will be provided OMR sheets to record their responses to the questions.
